For the third year in a row, the clouds were thick and uniform when I went to see the sakura at the waterfront. No blue sky was peeking through the blanket of clouds. But this year, I was armed with Tri-x so it was alright.

Thanks so much for the Likes! I appreciate it. Your b/w work is so lovely! I especially like the tones you get. Do you develop them yourself? I'm trying to find a lab for mine, because I'm not satisfied with what I'm getting. Then again, it might be user error :)
Hi Chinwe! I've been really loving your work lately. So glad you bought a Hasselblad. My coworkers at Blue Moon Camera develop all my film. They've really dialed in the perfect time and amount of chemistry. I scan it myself on the professional scanner that I work at all day there. It might be a combination of developing, scanning and processing that you notice. I also always meter the same way. Send us a roll and see for yourself if that's what makes the difference. Anne
