I really love Haruka as a character and the situation arised where I could cosplay her, so I took the chance right away. This is such a comfortable costume!

Just realized I never shared my newest Princess Zelda cosplay! I debuted it at Ottawa Comic Con 2017,and it is so comfy to wear. I made it with very lightweight fabrics and everything is very tunic-y shaped and loose fitting, just as I would imagine her outfit would look.

Managed to squeeze in some new cosplay progress among all the school work! The base dress for Young Zelda from Ocarina of time!

The dress is made from wonderfully soft and drapey fabric and it flows so nicely when its moved around. Because of it’s light weight nature I used french seams so the gown wouldn’t fray. The outfit if very tunic-y in silhouette and I tried making it as simple as possible without a lot of close fitting princess lines (as loose fitting is how I interpreted the dress). The skirt is done drindl style and is just rectangular, and all gathered onto the waist. The waist also has an elastic overlocked onto it which closes onto the waist. There’s no zipper or button opening and the dress just pulls over the head - nice and simple.
