I'm gonna start posting my bsd headcanons on here starting with Atsushi! (my son)

Kunikida had to teach him how to use a computer and his phone (you think the orphanage had that kind of technology? And if they did Atsushi probably never saw it). Dazai makes fun of him for this and Kunikida says something like "at least he's trying to actually work unlike YOU!".

Similar to the first one, the only phone at Atsushi's orphanage was a dial one which he was never allowed to use.

He sleeps with a tiger plush (which is definitely not a gift from Akutagawa)

Apologises to inanimate objects whenever he bumps into them, or just randomly speaks to them like "stay there" when he puts something down.

Always tries to be useful by helping other/getting stuff for them cos he hates the thought of being useless/unhelpful, also frequently over-apologises.

Can see very well in the dark (because of his ability but also his treatment in the orphanage)

Can get overwhelmed in large crowds/where there's a lot of loud noise.

His ability enhances his sense (I think this is kind of canon since Atsushi spotted Higuchi behind him or something when he and Kunikida had to give Katai's love letter to Gin)

Is the divorced child of Kunikida and Dazai

He purposefully puts spelling mistakes in his agency reports to annoy Kunikida (when he actually completes them instead of making Atsushi do it)

His right eye is more sensitive to light since he covered it when he was in the pm.

Sees Odasaku in Atsushi, and wonders if he's made Oda proud cos he adopted an orphan (╥﹏╥)

Most of the time he feels too unmotivated to clean his room or change his bandages.

Uses the photo of him, Oda and Ango as a bookmark for his book.

Whenever he has to present in Agency meetings he uses goofy transitions/graphics.

Hums to himself when he feels lonely but loudly sings some sort of brainrot song to annoy Kunikida/distract Atsushi from his work.

Does maths equations for fun/as a way to destress

Is in charge of the Agency's finances

Appointed himself as Atsushi's dad

Does maths tutoring as a side hustle and teaches Kyouka and Kenji ("education is important!" (he probably has something about it written in his ideals))

Feels overly responsible and blames himself for a lot of things (as far as I can remember this is canon or at least implied cos why is his bow blue in beast but red in the main series?!?! (I scream as they drag me back into the padded room))

When he was a teacher he tried to look out for all his students (probably the kind of teacher who seems really strict but is nice to the kids who don't piss him off)

In relation to this Kunikida sees one of his old students in Dazai and that's why he's harsh on him cos he wants Dazai to be happy/actually do something with his life (unlike the past student... or something this headcanon requires a few more wall staring sessions to properly flesh out)

Has an extremely strict schedule and when it (inevitably) gets thrown off he gets really anxious but hides it under his anger cos he doesn't want others to worry about him

Probably has repressed trauma/emotions but every character in this series has that so...
