this is what i imagine keiko's (sunaosa's daughter) hair to look like when she's in high school:

kinuko and kaneko (sakuatsu's daughters) have a lot more symbolism with their hair that i thought about way more so i scavenged pinterest for adequate pictures. while talking about this i kept the phrase "hair holds memories" in mind, as well as inarizaki's motto, "we don't need the memories".

16-18 (kaneko on left, kinuko on right):

kinuko's hair streaks are the same color as kaneko's, they're more golden than in the picture. their hair's the same length, and they're still recognizable as twins, and the trait that distinguishes them from each other still matches. this was when they were still in high school and still wanted to become the best in the world together.

19-21 (kaneko on left, kinuko on right):

kaneko grows her hair out and chops off the blonde bits, while kinuko chops all her hair off and dyes it all blonde. this is after they graduate high school and kinuko goes straight into the pro leagues while kaneko goes into college volleyball. kaneko has grown out her hair and let the blonde go, symbolizing how she's kept the memories of her childhood but is no longer able to remember any of the good ones. kinuko has cut her hair and dyed it blonde, symbolizing how she doesn't want the memories of her past, and she wants to start her life anew, hence the solid blonde. the fact that they look like fem sakusa and fem atsumu (their dads) is very intentional.

22-25 (kaneko on left, kinuko on right):

kaneko chops her hair a bit and gets blonde highlights, while kinuko grows her hair out but keeps the blonde at the ends. at this point, they've reconciled with each other, and they're now both playing in the pro leagues. their hairstyles still differ from one another, but the lengths are closer to each other (kaneko's hair is shorter, kinuko's hair is longer). they both still have blonde in their hair, symbolizing their reconciliation and their willingness to walk into the future together.
