I found Hitomi Odashima's old pixiv the other day and I meant to upload some stuff from it. But I forgot. So I'm making up for it now. Yay.

Found out about her through Heroaca. Long-time animator, animation director, character designer on the show... Umakoshi's design sense influenced her to the point where she was drawing like him near 1:1 only a few seasons in! Started to pay attention to her name more and discovered-- during my one of my annual SE rewatches around Halloween-- that Soul Eater was her first time being so extensively involved in a production: doing animation for 13 eps + some of her earliest Animation Direction work. All these pieces were drawn while SE was airing too!

Just fun and cool and expressive art. Even prior to Heroaca I feel like her art already was on the same wavelength as Umakoshi.

Poor show got a Toshiyuki Yamashita opening ahahahahhaha. Known plagiarist who still gets fuckin jobs for some reason. I'm sure there's more the op but the most glaring was the shit that ripped off Ishihama's SpyFam op. Fucking helllllllllll
