People need a compass. For Sevenths, that compass is Sumeragi
A multi-muse independent Ask/RP Blog for The Sumeragi Seven and The Eden Seven
This Blog is SFW, as the Mun is a minor. Suggestive material will, however, be accepted if sent.
A couple of years experience underneath the Mun’s belt.
Mun is friendly and willing to talk to people who want to interact with this blog.
Blog is OC and Multi-verse friendly - Do not be afraid to send in asks/RP if you want to interact with the blog!
Mun will not tag any material, such as violence, drugs, and possible suggestive themes. so be wary.
The Muses (and mun) will mostly act goofy, but will be more serious if the situation calls for it.
"I’ve nothing against walking, myself," Nura says, smiling a little. "When Taavi and I adventure together, that’s generally what I’m doing… that being said, there are times when I wish I had his capacity for flight."
"I’ll walk with you two~" The Cupie bounces up alongside both Simirrors, grinning wide. "So you live in a big castle, hmm? I didn’t even know they had more than one castle here in Dreamland! What’s it called? And how’d you even come to live there~?" Maybe he’s a really rich Simirror? Taavi is so very curious.
So is Nura, but she’s much more tactful. “I only knew of one castle, owned by the resident king… please, tell us more about your home.”
"Then walking is a nice idea,"He says in a chipper manner, going to tuck his scepter back into his sleeve, and it seems to vanish upon that. One wonders how it doesn't fling out of there, but then again, simirrors are magical beings.
"This way, I think...,"He mumbles, pointing to one side, before turning to begin to shuffle off while talking. "Huh? Well, it's not really a castle, castle, owned by a rich patron, but it's modeled after one. It's like a shelter for many people, in a way. There might have been new residents actually, since I last checked."
"It's really not hat interesting. I know a couple of homes that are underground similar. Really makes you wonder how they come to be, isn't it?" He comments with a grin under that shade of his hat.
"I like polishing them. It gives my hands something to do half of the time. That, added to the fact that they look so beautiful afterwards. It makes all of the effort pay off."He explains cheerfully, before spinning around and going to pull his scepter out. He then pauses, turning back around. "Right, no teleporting. Bad idea,"He tells himself, before clearing his throat.
"Can both of you fly? I imagine that would be a little faster than walking?"He questions, cocking his head to the side in a curious manner, continuing to hold his scepter in his right hand, though not using it.
Nura knows well the value of having busywork to do; she keeps her own hands busy as often as she can. Of course, with her job that’s usually already easily-enough accomplished.
The Simirror’s cryptic comment doesn’t go unnoticed, but what Nura focuses on is the beauty of the scepter itself. It reminds her, unsurprisingly, of her own wand in many ways -
"Oh, Nura can’t fly~" Taavi hums, looking a bit sad for a moment. "But, she can sometimes keep pace pretty well with crystal manipulation, hee~ still, it depends on where you’d need us to go?
… And why would teleporting be bad, anyway?” Not like he knows precisely how it’d work, but… is it dangerous for organic life?
"Ah... Hm, it's nearby a place with crystals, I suppose. I'm not sure how her crystal manipulation works. The castle, I mean. It's not that far away, especially not by flight, but teleporting.. Ah, well, my teleportation does weird things, sometimes, especially if I even attempt to bring other people with me. Thus, I think it's a bad idea in general."
After the explanation, he nods once, going to casually rub a gloved hand over his scepter. "Not that I have anything wrong with walking either. It's good for the body, I've been told."
Simirror leans forward slightly, eyes focusing onto the dark energy that had been materialized. He seems greatly interested, if not a little cautious about the whole thing.
"Is that so? I suppose that’s the same with almost all magic. Not many people can use mirror magic, I’ve been told. Ah… What exactly does your magic do? It seems very versatile." Simirror raises one hand, then lowers it, nodding once. How very … cool!
"What does it do…?" He repeated, considering what he should say. After mulling it over, he dispelled the energy sphere, turning his full attention back to Simirror.
"Well, there’s plenty it’s capable of. I could explain it all, but it’d take quite a lot of time… I’ll just say that, most notably… my magic can be used to take control of other beings."
Simirror leans back so as not to take the space of the other, nodding his head and listening closely. Taking over people... Possession? Simirror can't help but frown a little bit at it, before shaking his head, then nodding once more.
"That appears to be a... ah, useful skill, I heard. I've never tried doing such things, but it does have its usefulness. My mirror magic mostly does one thing, which is reflect things. And... I can split myself into two, I suppose. That's pretty useful." He chuckles a little bit.
A castle…? That’s quite the place to live. Nura wonders exactly how many castles even exist in Dreamland - she only knows of one, and surely it wouldn’t be the one she’s thinking of…
"Crystals~ Nura really loves those!" Taavi beams even more widely. "I bet you two both like mirrors a lot as well, hee hee~ Nura’s really good at working with glass and gems!"
"Ah…" Nura smiles a little at the compliment. "Yes… I am rather talented that way, I admit. And your home… does intrigue me. Neither Taavi nor I have duties at present… I suppose we have the time to visit, if you’re so inclined…"
"A few others?" Nura asks this with no small amount of trepidation. "… How many are you speaking about, exactly…?"
"Aw, Nura. I’m sure there’s nobody to worry about~"
"Yes, but…" Nura makes another nervous sound, adjusting her neckerchief again. "… I would be curious, yes, but… I wouldn’t want to impose…"
Taavi smiles at Simirror. “Hey, you wouldn’t mind, would you~?”
"Oh, around ten or more. I don't count, exactly. Though we live together and help keep the castle-like home well kept, we don't socialize that much. Though I do have a friend named Dee. He's a nice Waddle dee. Ah.. Other than that, I would love for you to come in. I have few visitors, that is."
His grin turns a bit more friendly at the thought of having people over. He didn't have a visitor since... what, a few months ago?
"Oh! And there's crystals, too. They're quite pretty. Do you like shiny things? I must say I have an attraction to them. I'm not sure why."
"…Oh, I wouldn’t say it’s hard, at least in my case. It comes to me with relative ease." As if to prove his point, he brought two of his hands up, held them apart from each other… and a small orb of dark energy sparked to life in-between them, almost instantaneously. For the time being, he let it remain there.
"Of course, I’ve been using dark magic for years. To others who aren’t as experienced, it could be quite challenging to manipulate. Dangerous, even…"
Simirror leans forward slightly, eyes focusing onto the dark energy that had been materialized. He seems greatly interested, if not a little cautious about the whole thing.
"Is that so? I suppose that's the same with almost all magic. Not many people can use mirror magic, I've been told. Ah... What exactly does your magic do? It seems very versatile." Simirror raises one hand, then lowers it, nodding once. How very ... cool!
Nura both admires and has a mild pang of jealousy at this other Simirror’s casual, easy way of talking. What kind of scholars did he learn under to feel so comfortable with this? Nura’s own upbringing, cloistered and closed-in, was not conducive to such casual interaction with other people…
Ah. He worked alongside the famous Kirby himself… no wonder. That would force just about anyone to be good at this.
"Ooh, wow~ you even worked with Kirby!" Taavi outright squeals a little, clasping his nubs to his face in ecstatic excitement - he does not at all withhold his emotional depth. "That’s so amazing~ is he really as friendly as all the stories say? What about all those powers he has - did you see them~?"
Nura gently reaches out to catch Taavi’s shoulder, pulling the Cupie back just a bit so he doesn’t smother Simirror - physically or otherwise. “Now, Taavi… we’ll have time to ask, should we wish… perhaps we should find somewhere more comfortable to talk, however…?”
Simirror looks relatively dreamy, actually, as if he'/s thinking of something else, or not focusing on the current situation. He's like this for a few moments, before jumping slightly at the squealing noise. He lets out a chuckle afterwards, seeming to be warmed by the reaction of Kirby. Working with him was very fun.
"Oh, of course. His powers are very amazing..,"Simirror begins to explain, before looking towards Nura and raising one arm. "Ah, right. Do you have a place in mind? Otherwise, the place I stay in was recently rebuilt. It has a few others living in it, but otherwise is quite peaceful." He explains, easily once more. He doesn't appear to mind the closeness, though. He might be used to it, anyway.
The grin shines through in the other Simirror’s eyes, and Taavi beams just as happily back at him. “I hope so too!”
There’s a noticeable shift in his demeanour at the mention of Kirby’s name, though. “Ooh, you know Kirby?! Wow! Isn’t he like… a big celebrity here?” The Cupie chirps excitedly. “Nura and I have spoken to some people here who talked to him… but I didn’t think he’d talk to people himself!”
Nura makes an abashed sound. “But - such an important person - doesn’t he have so much to do…?”
"Aw, but he probably still needs friends~"
"Perhaps." Nura glances over at Simirror again, noticeably piqued by the mention of books. "… Ah, you do? I would be interested in… learning of your collection, if you would not mind."
Simirror's gloved hands fold while speaking, then, putting on a more calmer front. After the comment on Kirby, he lets out a chuckle, then a nod.
"Truth be told, I worked with Kirby on some of his adventures. Thought he is busy often, he's a very kind person. I hope you get to meet him, sometime. I'm sure he would be pleased to greet people such as yourselves. He might even help you if you need it. He's... a kind soul, like that."He explains easily, the words seeming to flow out.
"Hm? Ah. My collection of books are mostly upon magic, mirror magic and not mirror magic. Some of them are also stories, or manuals. It's really a bit of a mix. I'm not exactly sure what you would be interested in, Hah." He tilts his head, nodding after that. His hands rub themselves together, before folding once more.
Offering a smile, the spider nodded in response to the other’s question. "Indeed. I, too, am a mage. So… you’re a user of ‘mirror magic’? Hm. Sounds interesting, although I can’t say I’ve seen that kind before."
"…As for myself, I primarily use dark magic. I find it quite fascinating~"
"Mirror magic is very versatile, and I find it fun! With shiny magic of course, and I enjoy the reflections." He explains, a smile growing on his face despite it not being able to be seen. After a few moments, he readjusts his hat, before seeming a little confused.
"Dark magic? I've never heard of a way to do that. White magic I've barely used before. Is it very hard to manipulate?"
"The only thing I see is the hat, robes, and hidden face...? I do like his scarf, though."
mirrorlover-sworld replied to your post:"It’s less than 30 minutes until 2015." "…Now…
"Arle? Why would you be searching for her?"
"What? Is there something wrong with seeking the New Year’s Kiss?"
"... Oooh..." Realization. "I give you my best wishes, then!"
"Ah, alright. I’m merely making sure. I’m a little bit behind the times, you see… Ah, I am Simirror. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Taranza."He nods, going to hold his free hand out nonetheless.
"Yes, good to meet you…" The floralian spoke, pausing before reaching out with one of his own hands to give the other a firm handshake. Afterwards, he cocked his head, staring at Simirror with a look of interest.
"…Out of curiosity, are you a mage of some kind? The garbs you wear seem to suggest so…"
Simirror shakes the hand of the other approximately three times, maybe half of one another time before releasing and pulling his hand back. He lets out a low chuckle, then giving a nod in confirmation for the other.
"Yes, actually. I use Mirror Magic, prominently. I assume you, ah, also dabble in the magical arts, as well?" He questions, cocking his head to the side to help show his curiosity.
*Snaps out of his flashback* Uh! Hm. My apologies, I… remembered something. Welcome.
“Oh?” The man’s voice’s snapped the young lady’s attention away from the rather large book she had been reading while she wandered around. The book floated in the air, no hands holding it. “Ahh, usually I run right into someone when I’m reading, eheh. Greetings!”
The simirror tilts his head, going to shuffle a little closer. "May I ask what you're reading? I'm curious. I enjoy my reading, too, you see,"He explains, sounding entirely interested, which he is.
ask-hydachi-turnip-and-friends started following you
He glances up, looking around, before cocking his head. "Welcome,"He says in the most of simplistic terms.
Hmm.. It's almost the new year. I should get a new mirror to celebrate, what do you think, Betty?
