He was as tall as he was tall, and his eyes were the color they were. To describe his hair one would say that he had some. His face had all the features you'd expect, and none of the ones you wouldn't. "There he is," people would often say of him, but only when he was there. And they were right.
“Ghosts are real” I can see how you could believe that
“Ghosts aren’t real” it’s very fair and rational that you believe that
“Ghosts aren’t real anymore” I’m about to hear a poem or very sad story
“Ghosts aren’t real yet” the fuck are you going to do
there's a fine line between being wary of manipulation and becoming completely paranoid because you get very close to the realisation that pretty much all human interaction involves doing things we hope will lead to a result we like
this post is about a lot of things. it's about my ex saying it was manipulative to talk to them in a cute voice because that influenced their emotions. it's also about someone on this webbed site saying being funny is "engagement farming". like yeah every single conversation you have is going to be "manipulative" if your standard for that is "did something with the goal of eliciting a response". if that bothers you go live in a hut in the forest and speak only to the trees. I'll be over here manipulating my friends into being happy by giving them compliments
posting on tumblr is risky because there's always a chance that your diary will undergo peer review

you’ve been moving around a lot? FATIGUE!
you’ve not been moving around? FATIGUE!
you’ve been standing? FATIGUE!
you’ve been sitting? FATIGUE!
you are simply conscious? FATIGUE!
you’re sad? FATIGUE!
you’re apathetic? FATIGUE!
you’re happy? Headache…AND THEN FATIGUE!

Politically I am for all the good stuff and against all the bad stuff, forever. Thank you. I will not be taking questions
The pain part of a migraine is quite bad but what’s even worse is how it turns you stupid
Even during an all day medication resistant migraine like I’m having today there’s periods of time where the pain goes down to just annoying levels so during those times I’d like to read a bit or watch something entertaining on tv but I feel so stupid that anything more complicated than a Minecraft let’s play makes my head start hurting again

In this office we do causal Fridays! We interrogate the effects our actions have on the world around us and how we in turn are shaped by which we cannot control. Yeah you can wear jeans
it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.
