Make fascists afraid to be vocal. Run them out and counteract their evil with overwhelming good. Make donations to charities that help people of colour under the public name and honour of Odin and Freya and Frigg and Thor. Shout louder than they do. I see a lot of fascism and disgusting vitriol in the comments section on videos from wardruna or heidlung - and something I’d like to do is reupload those videos with the express intent of curating the comments section heavily to keep that shit out. Most accounts won’t do that and they don’t notice how much hate is in their fan base. so I get really angry about these people taking music and culture that is expressly open and for everyone to pollute it in this way. If you know anyone personally that uploads videos to YouTube please remind them to curate that shit, report the bastards. Make statements that it’s not okay. Even one small platform is too one too many.

What if the post-Casa dumping had been different? What if Bobby had to choose which girl to save BEFORE Gary? Bobby could've chosen to save his best friend, and trusted Gary to make the "right" choice. Gary would've been WAYYYY more likely to decide "No, I won't save Hope." than Bobby was. If Bobby went first and felt secure enough in a plan to save both girls, Gary might have ruined that plan and set us in a scenario where Hope leaves, and Priya stays.

Honestly, this needs to be addressed.

I saw a thread in the fusebox subreddit today from a user who asked politely why some writers always picked Lucas as the bad guy and the responses omg, the majority of them were super petty trying to justify why they always picked Lucas as the bad guy. It's been a while since I don't post anything there, I just lurk occasionally for updates, news about the game or the memes there because it's super toxic that sub sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I did myself a favour leaving that sub for good.

They can write whatever they want but they can't expect Lucas stans being not annoyed seeing the MC/Lucas tag in AO3 being filled with a lot of stories bashing him for being "jealous" or "cold" because canon says so according to them.

Yeah, I stopped reading S2-related LITG fics in AO3 because it's not worth anymore, especially if you're looking for good Lucas/MC content without Bobby in the middle. I know firsthand that writing something decent takes a lot of work but real talk? If I write something it's because I chose to do with the pros and contras, but it takes nothing to be a little nicer and warn people about my content.

Currently, I'm working in two series of Lottie/MC and Lurik/MC in-villa one-shots and I know that probably I'm not going to be nice to Bobby and/or Gary in my writings, but do their stans need to see that?. No, because I can understand that behind these pixels there are real people who are attached to them and that don't like to see them dragged. Is not that hard to understand.

Honestly, the LITG fandom could learn one thing or two from the Choices fandom, like you correctly pointed.

Yes and yes! The only fic I wrote against a certain character I used the warning and the tag “anti certain character” is the minimum the reader deserves when they’re looking for content.
