Not So Berry Legacy Challenge

Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you!

Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences.

Basic Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of the generation (i.e. hair, makeup, clothing), but brightly colored skin is not necessary (these aren’t actually berry Sims, that’s the joke). Of course, this is optional but a big portion of the fun.

The colors of the spouses don’t matter as they aren’t part of the challenge. Unless otherwise stated you can do whatever you please with them.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.

You may live wherever you please unless something is specified in the rules of a generation.

Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

My good friend @alwaysimming​ and I kind of created this challenge on accident, but I think it turned out pretty great. We wanted to make something that forced us to play with parts of the game we’ve never explored before. Hopefully you’ll have fun too. Meet Juliana! She is the main character of my Runaway Teen Challenge (Pregnancy edition)! Something tragic happened to her, is how she ended up pregnant. Unbelievable that her parents kicked her out, and she's on her own in Oasis Springs, making her lil living on paintin and odd lil jobs. She just wants the best for her baby girl. With her best friends and her neighbor "Aunt" Joyce help, she has a better support system now and hopes her baby will be well taken care of on her own, single parentin!! She unfortunately had to drop out of school, but she plans to take some online classes and hopes to graduate, even if its not on time. I hope you all enjoy the updates and the journey.

Here's the thing, guys.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter when life begins.

It doesn't matter whether a fetus is a human being or not.

That entire argument is a red herring, a distraction, a subjective and unwinnable argument that could not matter less.

It doesn't matter whether we're talking about a fertilized egg, or a fetus, or a baby, or a five year old, or a Nobel Prize winning paediatric oncologist.

NOBODY has the right to use your body, against your will, even to save their life, or the life of another person.

That's it.

That's the argument.

You cannot be forced to donate blood, or marrow, or organs, even though thousands die every year, on waiting lists.

They cannot even harvest your organs after your death without your explicit, written, pre-mortem permission.

Another update from my Messed Up Scenario turned Legacy-legacy? lol Sawyer McNeil and Sage Evans, highschool sweethearts, now living together with their not so lil buddy Ziggy!. Sawyer is a freelance programer to be put through med school and Sage is finding herself currently, in the tech department and painting on the side! They seem happy..buut I dont think itll last.

its been a while since I posted on here, but I was doing the firey scenario of being a celebrity' chef, and i moved my sims, into a different save and because she had a baby, it canceled the scenario, so I turned this into a lil legacy. here are some screenies.

psa or whatever but it's 'romani' or 'rom', not 'roma', if you're trying to talk about all of us.

roma are a specific subgroup of romani (primarily from romania, the czech republic, and other countries in that general geographic region).

there's a lot more romani groups than that though (sinti, kaale, ashkali, to name just some major ones) with their own culture, language/dialect, and history and they're left out entirely when people insist on calling us specifically roma for whatever reason. i realize that it's not an actively malicious mistake for most people but it's still part of the overall erasure and whitewashing of romani history.

all roma are romani but not all romani are roma. would appreciate it if you could pass this on when you find people mislabeling us in that way in future. cheers.
