I think he held back his silliness a lot as a recruit, and only as a don can he be more silly , While Mista is so full of hatred during PHF, or at the beginning or in the epilogue, ugh, I love Mista being pissed off at Giorno and Fugo. Experienced Fugo x Inexperienced Bucciarati on the brain again (always).

Bucciarati's first selfish act in his entire life basically was beginning to recruit a team because he was lonely after his dad died. He has so much on his shoulders and took on a ton of responsibility at a very young age. I don't know if he's really indulging himself in pleasure beyond necessity. He could if he wanted to, and anyone would be surprised to find out that he doesn't.

Pre-canon I just don't buy him getting any until Fugo comes around. Bucciarati eventually giving into Fugo getting what he wants, and... having no idea what to do. In general I think he'd pretend, and it's not like any of Fugo's prior experience would have been that good, so it's not like he'd know better.

It's also fun if Fugo realizes that Bucciarati has no idea what he's doing. Bucciarati is older than Fugo and here Fugo is already tainted, corrupting his savior even (vs. Bucciarati who is just extremely embarrassed but doing a good enough job of not showing it).
