not to sound pretentious but i actually think it is very important for you to read things that are hard for you to read. like don't get me wrong we all have our comfort rereads, whether in novel or fanfiction form, but it's also necessary to pick up that one classic novel you've heard is amazing but couldn't quite parse out. go read shakespeare. dostoyevsky. dickinson. austen. beowulf. whatever counts to you as "hard to understand." look up the words you don't know. this is a skill that requires building and without people who build it we lose history.

Rowling believes that she has a right to commit sexual violence against women she believes don't deserve rights or safety.
Her response to receiving criticism on posting said upskirt was to essentially argue that the trans woman had it coming and as was basically asking for it because of what she was wearing.
