Most of my work these days revolves around Guitar Cable. Working for Lava Cable has definitely changed my perspective on shooting. I have been given the assignment to at least upload one shot a day to their Instagram account- every day I have to find a new way to promote Guitar Cable. The amazing thing is the more you try, the more you realize there is more to try.

This shot was taken with the help of a couple of sparklers with one being taped to a skateboard which forms the line in the background. Light Painting is always a ton of fun.

Today is Kind of an odd day,

I decided to put up for sell my first major Bmx bike today. Although I have actually got a new bike in the past year, it just seems odd. It's like I'm selling a part of myself and my past. It was my single most loved possession besides a camera growing up through high school and thru the first part of college. Every scratch and ding telling a different story about a good time or hard learned lesson.

After following the smoke trail I finally found this trailer on fire with firefighters already on the scene and working. I was a little hesitant to shoot images of this since this is a big part of someone's life literally going up in flames, but for some reason we are drawn to imagery like this. We want to feel for that person and almost get a glimpse into their pain, life and emotions. I hope the absolute best for this family.
