Unfortunately this muse is long dead and gone. I’ve tried reviving him but sadly nothing I do works for long and I just can’t bring myself to keep up the maintenance for this blog or trying to do threads for a muse I just don’t feel anymore. I’m sorry but I just can’t do it. Thanks everyone for sticking with this blog until now though.

this is so lazy but i caved and decided to try the ansem week thing anyway, even though i thought i would be too stressed out, which is part of why i stopped doing themed weeks in the first place, but…

the theme is “dwell” but i have no idea what’s going on here, haha

I’m finally feeling better, i had a flu for like, a week and then a severe cold right after, this last week and this week so far have been just… ugh, but I’m finally starting to get over it.

{☾} – Saïx completely tensed up and kept his eyes focused on their feet. Ansem was technically on the same level as Xemnas. He was someone to be respected and to be feared. He kept in step, offering a nervous smile.

“Well I hope I am enough to entertain you for dancing, Sir.”

“Well you haven’t stepped on my feet yet, that’s a positive to say the least.” Keeping a good grip on the other as he kept them moving. Though the song finally ended and he moved them towards the side of the room once more. A smirk playing on his features as he did so. “For one who does not dance so much you kept up rather well.”

Ansem.

A lump caught in Saïx throat, causing him to misstep. He squeezed the other’s shoulder as he tensed up. He must look ridiculous, not recognizing him sooner. It was so obvious after all. He kept his gaze down on the floor, not wanting to look up again.

“Did.. Xemnas send you to spy on me or something? Or is this all coincidence?” His voice was hushed. He was too nervous to speak above a whisper.

“No, he did not send me.” continuing to keep him in step “I actually wasn’t expecting you to be here.” However here they were and it wasn’t like Ansem to let an opportunity to mess with someone slip away, besides, the suit the other was wearing did look nice enough.

“I’m not here for work, I’m simply enjoying some wine and dancing.”

{☾} – Saïx laughs a bit as he is tugged out onto the floor. One hand settles onto the man’s shoulder and the other stays locked with his. He would allow this man to lead, he seemed to know what he was doing after all. They moved together in sync, Saïx’s eyes wandering up to the other man’s.

“My, you really are quite the dancer.” He smiles. “I still am getting the feeling that I know you from somewhere..” He mused, amber locking with amber.

“I wonder.” A chuckle as he led him in step, pushing and pulling him when needed, though gently, to get him to move a bit in the way he needed. Their eyes locked and he gave him a hint, it would be boring after all if he never figured it out “Maybe it’s the eyes.” A grin ever on his face. Their eyes much the same thanks to circumstance.

{☾} – The Diviner looks down at the other’s hand and sighs. No harm in dancing with a complete stranger. Well there was, but none that Saïx wanted to think about. He placed his glass down and took the other man’s hand.

“I suppose one dance would not hurt.”

A grin as he gently tugs him out onto the dance floor, weaving around people already dancing to get to a spot they could fit and move without bumping into anyone else.

“Perhaps a refresher course then?” Reaching a hand out for the other to take “Certainly there is no harm in dancing a bit, what else is there to do beside staying by the wall with a glass of wine.”

{☾} – The older man looked familiar, but he could not be sure. He knew a plenty of others with hair and eyes like that. He tried not to think about it too much. He gave a nod of his head in response. “Parties are not really my cup of tea. My boss asked me to come here to.. learn about the host.” Saïx said with a sigh. He sipped at the drink in his hand.

“What about you? Do you enjoy finding yourself at this sort of thing?”

He gave a soft shrug “I do not mind the occasion. A good excuse to show just how well I can dance.” Adjusting his mask a bit he added “Do you dance?” He did not mind parties such as this, a good excuse to neglect work for just a little while.

"Do I.. know you?"

A deep chuckle “Do you?” giving a small bow “You don’t much look thrilled to be here. Your posture says it all.” he didn’t look comfortable in this setting in the slightest.
