A szenvedély kihalt belőlem.
nem tudok aludni. most felkelek.
most a nyarakra gondolok, amikor még azt hittem,
ha az ablaknál gyújtok rá, nem lesz szaga.

forever that girl that gets really excited when the sky is in pretty colours
Nem azért látlak mindenkiben, mert hiányzol,
hanem mert ugyanolyan vagy mint az összes többi.
és semmi bajom, csak megszokásból remegek
szerelemtől álmatlan forogtam

Stop making other people feel guilty for grieving over Notre Dame burning
Of course there are bigger tragedies, of course we should also grieve over history being lost elsewhere too, but it’s completely normal to grieve over something that means much more to you. Notre Dame is the most visited monument in the entire world and it was destroyed. It’s ok to be sad. Notre Dame is the staple for Gothic Architecture, something that for many of us is significant to our cultures, our art, our history. Even if we aren’t French. Notre Dame is so close to our history, our culture, our art, it’s a staple for many Europeans, French or not. The cultural significance that it has for many of us is incredible. We take these centuries old buildings for granted sometimes in Europe, we just assume they’re always going to be there, and seeing something that is meant to stand the test of time burn is painful. Let us grieve. We know there are other atrocities in the world. We know art is destroyed elsewhere and not talked about. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be sad about this. Things that are closer to us hurt more. It hits closer to home. It’s just that simple.
Mennyivel szebb azt mondani, hogy rám sötétedik,
mint azt, hogy órák óta céltalanul bolyongok.

Az a szerencsétlen, aki ezeket irta, mérhetetlenül áhitozik szeretetre, hogy a szeretet vissza tartsa őt oly dolgok elkövetésétől, melyeket fél megtenni.
