So I was reading a student’s third party platform and came across this GEM.

Early last night, using my telescope and adapter for my #nikond3100, I snapped this photo of #jupiter and the four #Galilean moons. These four moons (#ganymede #callisto #europa #io) were first spotted by #Galileo, who correctly concluded that they orbited Jupiter, thus disproving the popular #geocentric theory of the time. These are the four largest moons of Jupiter, each having their own unique characteristics. It is widely believed that #europa has a liquid ocean under its surface, with the potential for life existing within.
