Okay i have a request for any ao3 writers out there! Specifically 9-1-1 writers!!

If someone could make a fic about Buck, using the song "Pancakes For Dinner" I'd really appreciate it!

I want it to have the same impact that "Ice Cream Before Dinner" had on me and my brain chemistry!! I dont care if it has a happy ending or an angsty one! Also I fully encourage you to decide if it should end with unrequited love or not!!!😼😼😼

I want it to be from Buck pov (like 3rd person limited) and to be of him and the Grant-Nash family. If you decide to make it multiple chapters THEN I think it’d be cool to get some of the others pov of the things happening!!!

He should be sad for some reason, it can be bc of literally anything that has already happened to him. But i want it to take place before Bobby has finished teaching him how to make dinner foods. And I want him to be spending time trying to perfect his pancake recipe (or literally any breakfast food, i just think it makes sense with the song name) while spending hella time with May and Harry!!

and I want Bobby and Athena to be grouping him in with May and Harry whenever they talk to the 118 (or whoever) about their kids. Like when talking about Buck, May, and Harry doing something like hanging out or cooking or something, they just say “Oh yeah the kids are doing ___” or someone asks about their kids and they include Buck in the answer. (This doesnt every have to be its own scene if you dont wanna, it can just be alluded to or mentioned offhandedly!!)

Also i want this to be a Buddie fic!! I constantly think of this song as Buck talking about Eddie!!! Its 2025, I NEED to consume some more Buck oblivious but also obviously pining and longing!! Like he is both obvious and oblivious to his own feelings and others have to help (IE: spell it out) him realize that he likes Ed! (Eddie can know or not idc, I just think its cute to have Buck like him without realizing it)

- Ravi being a little shit (actually i do require this one)

- the second gen first responders (the 118’s kids)

- Buckley parents bashing

- Wine nights (Athena, Maddie, Eddie, Karen)

- Chris, May, and Ravi teaming up of Buck (or both of Buddie) for being oblivious

- RAVI AND BUCK FRIENDSHIP PLEASE!!

- this one isnt very realistic but I’d love a Buck who knows the slang Ravi (and May) uses

Also lets ignore the fact that this would make it a Buck and Grant-Nash centered fic based on what I’ve described 😓😓

I love this song and I constantly imagine it as Buck talking about Eddie, and after these past episodes I feel we deserve pinning Buck
