Homestuck Fusion

This blog's title is kind of an artifact of when I made it. I use it to post some original material, still mostly Homestuck-themed, when it's good enough (or at least when I'm productive enough). My art is interspersed with text-only posts, mostly regarding Homestuck and the Homestuck fandom, and many reblogs. I'm pretty much never on Pesterchum any more, or MSPARP at all, but when I am on I'm usually the troll Athene Achako (Mage of Hope). At the suggestion of a friend, I'm letting y'all know I'm MtF transgendered. I'm already out, but since I don't bring it up unless it's relevant, she assumed I wasn't telling anyone. So now you know. Oh, right, one last thing: I follow several people who generally post a LOT. If we're not already having a dialogue, your best bet for contacting me is by using the Submit/Ask/whatever channels, since I often have too many posts on my dashboard to stay caught up on all of them.

Creating an OC who's fucked up because of their parents might seem harmless at first, but unless you're very careful about avoiding certain topics, at some point you're going to have to think about what their parents actually did to make them so fucked up, and now your OC's fucked up parents are also your OCs.

I need everyone to know that I looked it up, and Noah Lyles is doing this as part of an ongoing bet he has with shotput competitor Chase Jackson. She's wearing Naruto accessories every day, and if Lyles whips out Yugioh cards at every race, then for the shotput finals Jackson will re-enact the scene of Rock Lee dropping his weights.

This is now the only part of the Olympics that I care about.

This is Gaza, where not a single house remains standing. We are without shelter, without food, without water. We are dying. We are being bombed every day. We are being shot at in the middle of Gaza City. Where is the ceasefire agreement? Where is the humanity? They are shooting at and targeting people who go to get some firewood for their families to cook. We are truly oppressed.

It is Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Moatsem al-Sharafy was not the only thirteen year old boy killed by Israel today. Another, in Central Bureij refugee camp, was killed in a drone strike with his dad and another relative.

They were not the only family killed in Bureij refugee camp today. Three brothers in the camp were martyred by tank shelling.

Palestinian journalists Mohammed Salah Qeshta, Anas Ghunaim and Abdul Raouf Shaath were with Egyptian Relief Committee to film footage of refugee camps in Gaza strip. Israelis struck their car and killed them.

A 32 year old woman, the same age as many of my close friends, was also shot in Southern Gaza.

I focused on the story of Moatsem because I can't stop thinking about how many times that could have been my young friend Ahmed, going out for wood, water, food, or supplies to help his family. He is not that much older than Moatsem. He, too, wakes hungry. He, too, has a mother who worries over him.

Israel's attacks have often gotten very close to Ahmed's family. The deaths do not capture the extent of Israeli attacks, because they do not include those injured who survive. One of Ahmed's neighbors in a nearby tent is a survivor of today's attacks. This is how immediate the danger is.

@ahmedaldani333 and his family (verified on the @gazavetters list, #198) are living in a tent that has been subject to repeated flooding this winter. His family has been sick for weeks now. They thought it was the flu, but today Ahmed told me that they learned it is a virus that is spreading through these camps.

It is impossible to recover without funds for medicine, nutritious food, and clean water. Mourn the martyred people of Palestine. But please also do what you can to take care of those who are still trying to survive, especially the children.

It’s actually really funny how many cultures have fox spirits and how many mostly consider them Complete Assholes, whether actively malicious or just dickheads that trick people
