Hi I saw an anon try to tell you that Proship and Comship don't mean the same thing, I really hate to correct them but they aren't right.

Proship/Profic/Comship/Comfic all mean the same thing, they are people who may or may not write and read content relating to uncomfortable topics such as P3d0, inc3st, r4p3, and more.

These people believe that since it's "just fiction" it is ok for others to write and interact with problematic content.

They also claim to be "anti-harassment" as in "you don't bug me about it, I won't bug you" and while in some cases that may be true, there are still people under said labels who still harass others for not having the same mindset. They often will spill into your askbox about their personal traumas in order to make you look like the bad guy for disagreeing with them (sometimes completely unprovoked).

It is still harming to say that some of these individuals have absolutely no dni, and converse openly with online predators whether they know it or not. They also will argue with you up and down about how the problematic content being created may end up being used to gr00m children (as in they will say it isn't used for that despite the fact that it can and often is to desensitize people.)
