A hiker stumbles upon a mighty god in the wilderness. In an effort to be fathomable to people, the god has pieced together a human form, but overcompensated and added too many parts. The hiker is overwhelmed by waves of divinity from the deity: it is as if the whole universe beams from their being, from streams to oceans, icebergs to mountains, caves to forests, planets to galaxies.
This is a collage made of National Geographic, Sierra Club, and Oprah magazine clippings. I made it for an art contest
This is my comic about prehistoric Native peoples of Ohio that I made for an informational anthology last year! I put lots of research into this. I want to make a full graphic novel that goes more in-depth and also covers proto-historic Native Americans. I would update the art and formatting as well.
I made this cross stitch piece as a gift for my mom's birthday! It took about 3 months of work, working most days for 1-2 hours. So if we round that to 1.5 hours a day, 25 days a month, for 3 months, that's... 112.5 hours? Cross stitch takes sooo looong 😭
Art for Heartmates, my Kingdom Hearts AU fic! This took me a week to do, mostly because of Ventus' clothing and armor. I'm never drawing him again (lying)
Fursona time :3
[ID: Digital drawing of a brown boot stepping on crushed ice, with ice scattered around the ground. The boot and ice are in a red circle. Around the circle is text saying, "I prefer my ice crushed" in all caps. End ID]
Ways to get involved to abolish ICE and help your community if you can't protest or donate (you can do online searches for many of these):
-Find your local mutual aid networks.
-Offer to do errands, get groceries, or do child or pet care for people at risk.
-Check in with your neighbors. Knock on their door or leave a note.
-Share information about ICE with friends, family, coworkers, on social media, everyone and everywhere.
-Follow ICE watches and tell people when they're in the area.
-Join an anti-ICE patrol.
-Report any sightings to iceout.org or iceinmyarea.org. If you see someone get taken, call a hotline (the one in Ohio is 419-777-4357).
-Learn the whistle code, SALUTE method, and WRAP method for ICE sightings and recording activity.
-Know your rights when ICE shows up, and let others know theirs too.
-Call your representatives. 5calls is a good resource for finding scripts and reps. If you're shy about talking on the phone, call after hours and leave a message.
-Boycott companies that support ICE.
-Make or share anti-ICE art, zines, posters, etc. Join a craftivism group.
I tried my hand at redesigning Ventus! I made him chubby and darkened his skin, and gave him freckles, green eyes, and lighter hair. I changed the color of his clothes to match his personality better - the black, white, and grays of his palette just don't fit him. I also wanted to differentiate it from Roxas' palette. His metal armor got lightned as well. What do you think?
Made a comic about my dog who I had to put down last month. I feel a tiny bit lighter after getting it out this way.
These are the Sisters from Kubo and the Two Strings in modern outfits! This is in collaboration with my friend Benny (h0mowhatever on instagram). Silly did the sketch and outfit design, and I did the lineart and colors. I'm really happy with how this turned out!
Hello LAIKA lovers, I made my first AMV, and it's for ParaNorman! I churned this out in a hyperfocused state in 3 hours. I'm pretty proud of it, hope you like it!
Hey folks, I am part of Columbus Cartoon Coalition's new comics anthology, Hidden Histories! It's filled with comics by many talented artists to educate readers on a variety of topics. My comic is 7 pages about the prehistoric Native peoples of Ohio. Check out the crowdfunder at https://crowdfundr.com/C3-Hidden-Histories and use my code Emily-Love for 25% off your order! The more money we raise, the more us artists get paid!
I have been learning to crochet
When people ask me how it’s going, I tell them, “Fortunately, I already did cross-stitch, so I’ve already come to terms with the fact that I can’t count”
This hits big in fiber arts circles
Hello folks, I am part of a comic anthology with Columbus Cartoon Coalition, and our crowdfunder is launching on October 2nd! Here is the link, please check it out!
The goal of the Columbus Cartoon Coalition (C3) is to establish consistent programming for cartoonists and comic artists in Columbus, OH. De
I also did an interview about my comic, you can listen to it on the PVDcast or watch it on YouTube! (My dog was in the bsckground scratching and barking so don't mind that, he has sensitive skin and allergies, and likes to hear himself talk.)
Fanart for The Boxtrolls and Missing Link, two of my favorite movies by Laika Studios! I love these nonbinary creatures.
