Naruto Gaiden 2 (Spoilers!)
Ok, this will be more theory based than a recap.
Confirmed from this chapter, everyone is being all secretive whenever Sarada asks about her birth and her parents like with Shizune.
It’s very suspicious and also, the appearance of this new character Mitsuki. He came from another village and obviously showed some interest towards Sarada or should I say the Uchiha clan.
And I’m sure we all remember Onion Head from earlier. He has the Sharingan and based off of Kakashi’s theory, he is mostly likely one of Orochimaru’s experiments.
With these last 2 chapters mainly surrounding the Uchiha, I can’t help but assume that it has something to do with Sarada. First of all, why is everyone being secretive with Sarada. Why hasn’t Sasuke come home? Why aren’t there anything recorded about Sarada’s birth? Where did this Mitsuki come from and why? And why does Onion Head have the Sharingan?
After giving it some thought, what if those eyes that Onion Head has are Sarada’s?!!! I know it’s quite an accusation but it just makes some sense to me. We’ve seen from the Naruto exhibition that Sarada activated the Sharingan through unknown reasons but it seems she hasn’t activated it in a long time. Or does she even remember activating it?
I’m just spitting out ideas but since Orochimaru has been experimenting with the Sharingan, what if he took Sarada’s eyes when she was little? Sure, he could’ve tried to take Sasuke’s but we all know that he could whoop Orochimaru’s ass! Sasuke’s little girl on the other hand can’t. (Plus, Sarada is the only other Uchiha left) I mean, it’s Orochimaru we’re talking about. He is capable of getting into the village and getting information and if not that he could sent in his own spies like Kabuto to do it for him or in this case Mitsuki?
And if that’s the case then how does Sarada have her eyes now? Well, Naruto has the power to have her gain her eyes back like what he did for Kakashi in Naruto 675 when he got his Sharingan stolen by Madara in Naruto 674. However, she no long has the Sharingan. Maybe she has to regain the power again or she doesn’t have the power at all anymore. Who knows.
I’m not entirely sure but I feel like something must’ve happened to Sarada when she was little, and that’s the reason Sasuke has been away from the village. He’s tracking down Orochimaru or even another dangerous villain that could bring harm to the village, his family, and especially his precious daughter. And that’s why there aren’t any records of Sarada’s birth anyway in the village! Sarada could be in danger if anyone knew that Sasuke wasn’t in the village to protect her so they make it as if she doesn’t even exist. (Like what the Third Hokage did for Naruto when his parents died.)
And my main reason for thinking of such a theory is because of this panel.
Why did Kishi put these two panels side by side like that? Maybe it’s just a coincidence and I’m thinking too much about it. Still, I think I have a reasonable theory. What do you think?
