I love you regressors who cherish fandom as a huge part of your regression. Whether that means playing a beloved childhood video game to feel small, shipping and writing fanfics with the same glee you did as a teen, regressing as a fictional species, finding comfort in a fictional caregiver, and more!!
I totally respect hcs about agere when the characters retain their defining characteristics but I'm also really enjoying the idea of Pitt regressors being able to react in ways that their adult selves can't.
Like Mel is always so very held together: she puts up with things that are uncomfortable and/or unpleasant without complaining, she puts other peoples wants above her own needs, she prioritizes Becca in all ways and is always patient and controlled.
So imagine Mel who, when she's feeling smaller, tantrums a Lot. Not in a bratty way- it's just that she can't handle the orange that smells so strongly she can smell it all the way across the room, she can't handle the pasta that's overcooked to mush, she can't handle the noise of the vacume, she can't handle the bright light in the store, she can't handle any of it the way she usually can and she's so tired of having to put up with these things in her day to day, so now she's stamping her feet and crying and pushing because she knows that finally, finally she's safe to act how she feels.
Imagine Emma who has always, always brushed off the roughhousing of her older brothers with a smile, no matter how much it hurts: she never gives in to pain, she can handle it, she's had worse, it's fine. So now when she's feeling small, she's in tears over everything, every scrape, every papercut, every bruise has her sniffling and whining because she knows that finally, she can do so without fear of being scolded or made fun of: Dana will just scoop her into her lap and cuddle her and never, ever tell her she's making a fuss.
And imagine Trinity who is so used to pushing people away and protecting herself that when she finally feels safe with someone, she's able to actually seek out the closeness and comfort that she never usually gets: she's climbing onto Baran's lap, she's holding her hand, clinging to her sleeve, just generally soaking up every bit of love and care without fear or guardedness.

ㅤㅤ ݁ 📚 ◠ ִ he’s in his element with a tween or teen regressor, loves using things he’s learned from the kids at school to try and connect with you. he can get so embarrassing with it too, like trying to “casually” use new slang that doesn’t even make sense in the conversation..
ㅤㅤ ݁ 🌎 ◠ ִ always tries his hardest to give you space to express your feelings with him. he’s quick to catch on if you have bad days and tries to subtly bring it up with you so you can open up.. is never really subtle but its obvious he’s really trying and cares a lot.
⟶ at times he can get scared that he’s hovering too much when he’s caring for you. sometimes he probably is but if you talk to him about it, he’d be very understanding and try to dial down to whatever’s best for you!
ㅤㅤ ݁ 📚 ◠ ִ gets so emotional by any accomplishments you make, even ones that might seem “small” to you. he loves taking cute pictures or noting down what the milestone was and he is definitely the kind to make a whole organized scrapbook out of it.
ㅤㅤ ݁ 🌎 ◠ ִ loves matching with his regressor and will actively look for things you can have to match with each other like socks or t shirts. he’s very insistent that it is indeed super cool and that it could never ever be lame to match together!!
ㅤㅤ ݁ 📚 ◠ ִ museum outings!! one of his favorite activities is going to museums, especially history ones. he’s extra extra patient in this environment, will take time for you both to look at displays and will read it aloud to you— occasionally adding on whatever facts and tidbits he knows about it.
ㅤㅤ ݁ 🌎 ◠ ִ big on binge watching shows together, sets up some extra time to watch whatever show you both can enjoy and sometimes invites melissa to watch too. whatever show you’re watching becomes a big talking topic between you all from then on!
ㅤㅤ ݁ 📚 ◠ ִ story time with a younger regressor is actually really difficult for him and not because he lacks the imagination for it but because he gets carried away with all the details in story making. he gets so excited with acting it out that you both end up getting too hyper towards bed time
⟶ with an older regressor he does something similar when telling stories from his day to day life. he gets excited about being able to talk with you and make you laugh so he talks foreverrrr.. he drags it out purposely to get laughs out of you and keep you entertained T-T

dad!jack abbot who plays old cd’s in his truck during drives and makes whoever’s with him wait the second it takes to flip through his discs to pick one.
➝ “hold on kid, just lemme put this cd in.. are we feelin’ some springsteen today?”
dad!jack abbot who brings home random treats he thinks his kid might like, knocks on their door with a handful of odd little desert type things and lets them take a few picks of the lot.
dad!jack abbot who awkwardly tries to keep up with whatever his kid is into even if it makes him seem corny (and it usually does).
dad!jack abbot who has this super dry humor, definitely one to crack terrible dad jokes with the straightest face.. very few are amused by this but he will do it any chance he gets.

i stand by jack being the most patient caregiver even if he’s being bitten at every single second.
“ah— baby, got some sharp teeth there.” he huffs, ever playful when he draws his arm away from you to find the faint imprint of your teeth. he doesn’t seem the slightest bit surprised by the act, entirely used to you constantly biting and gnawing at him whenever possible.
jack simply wipes away the smear of saliva you’ve left sticking to his skin with the pad of his thumb and pats your head before moving on. naturally you get pouty at the lack of attention, watching as he goes back to whatever task he’d taken to, already desensitized to being your personal chew toy by now.
he only doubles back when you find yourself nipping at his skin once more — mischievous and giggly where you’re tucked into his side trying to playfully get his attention.
it’s sudden when he tugs you forward into him, two large hands grasping onto yours and bringing them up close to his scruffy mouth. “think it’s funny to maul someone, hmmm?” he’s mumbling in between fake nips to your fingers, pulling you closer to draw more laughter from you.
jack only ups the antics the more you squirm and laugh, pretend biting at your arms and face as if he was a big impulsive dog playing with a smaller puppy dog.
he does almost the same thing every time it happens by the way..（＾∇＾）
