I have so many new K-Pop biases and groups that I would never have thought could steal my stone-cold heart have managed to do that.
I mean, some of these groups. You know that everything is overdone but you just can't help falling for their boyish charms and cute teeth and innocent giggles... Boyfriend Twins, anyone?

Anyway...
So that's the #1 reason, I want to get back on tumblr - to share my new-found addiction to Dalmatian, or DMTN I suppose. I love them so much that I even ordered State Of Emergency :3
Of course, there are other reasons for me to return - I generally enjoyed the stuff I found on my dashboard. It used to display many treasures. Like this one,
Maybe I need to refresh the blogs I follow because now my dashboard is full of stuff I don't really enjoy reading or seeing.
That's the main reason for my status of tumblr AWOL but another reason is that my painstakingly-collected gif folder is on the PC & now I usually go online through the laptop.
There were two freshman girls sitting next to me in the library and they saw me on tumblr and said "We better find somewhere else, I saw them Asians on her blog and them K-Pop fans are some hardcore shit. Messing with one of them is like messing with the mafia."
TVXQ or DBSK (Dong Bang Shin Ki) which translates into Rising Gods of the East

TVXQ are K-Pop Royalty, being known as the Kings of K-Pop. Hands down.
They are even called "The Stars of Asia", with record album sales (most albums sold by a K-Pop group ever), sold-out concerts and Guinness World Records under their belt. Being the biggest Korean act in the J-Pop industry, TVXQ were indisputably the most talented group before their split in 2009. To this day, the 5 individual members own formidable skills in all aspects of many industries. At the peak of their popularity, TVXQ performed at sold-out domes in Japan and claimed the Guinness World Records in 2008 & 2011 for being the group with the most number of official fans as well as for being the most photographed celebrities in the world. Their fandoms Cassiopeia & BigEast are said to be one of the largest fandoms in the world.
TVXQ successfully entered the Japanese market, which is very hard to crack, producing hit songs such as Love In The Ice and Why Did I Fall In Love With You. TVXQ have sung songs for animes and did a song for Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday. TVXQ even performed to a sold-out Tokyo Dome and the members are fluent enough in Japanese to write songs entirely in Japanese.
TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu sued SM Entertainment in 2009 over excessively long contracts. After the lawsuit, it is rumored that SM made it almost impossible for the three members to continue their activities, being blacklisted from broadcasting stations and ignored by award shows.
The trio returned as JYJ, strong as ever, admittedly with a comeback that fell short of public expectation that featured Kanye West (WHY). However, their second album blew away the general public with In Heaven as the title track.
Following the split, the two remaining members returned as TVXQ after a year and a half hiatus, with a comeback Keep Your Head Down that destroyed any rumors that TVXQ were now irrelevant. The duo showcased their improved singing, dancing and performance skills that compensated for the absence of the three most all-round-talented members. The duo continued the success of TVXQ and brought in record-breaking revenue from both Korean and Japanese albums.
Jung ‘U-Know’ Yunho, the leader of TVXQ and one of the best dancers in the entire industry, has made his acting debut in various dramas. Despite being the original weakest link vocally, following the split, Yunho’s vocals have improved to the point where he is able to rival some of the biggest names in the industry. Yunho is very proficient in martial arts and is very athletic. He is one of the most masculine idols in the industry and was and is a phenomenal leader to TVXQ.
Kim ‘Hero’ Jaejoong is the oldest member of TVXQ/JYJ and is considered to be one of the most beautiful men in the world. Formerly the main vocalist of TVXQ, Jaejoong had expanded his talents to include acting and has appeared in many dramas and a movie, alongside very distinguished names. Jaejoong recently released his first solo album, which was geared more towards rock music which is his passion. Jaejoong is responsible for penning the lyrics and occasionally composing songs for both JYJ and TVXQ. He is extremely fluent in Japanese and is very popular in Japan. Jaejoong is known for his extremely strange personality, with no one being able to imagine how he thinks. He has a cat he adores called Jiji and he recently got a dog to make Jiji jealous.
Yunho and Jaejoong’s friendship remains to be a much-talked-about issue with many people claiming that such a degree of closeness was much too intimate for them to be normal friends. However, no proof has been found to suggest the pair were anything other than extremely close friends.

Park ‘Micky’ Yoochun has branched out into the acting industry and has won awards for his acting in high-profile dramas. Hailing from USA, Yoochun originally held the position of vocalist/rapper in TVXQ, responsible for the climactic falsettos in their songs. However, due to constant smoking, it is said that Yoochun’s voice has deteriorated to the point where he finds it difficult to sing. Yoochun has always been the prankster of TVXQ & JYJ with his witty comments.
Kim ‘Xiah’ Junsu is commonly heralded as one of the best solo artists and all-round talented people in the industry. He owns one of the best voices in K-Pop, is one of the better dancers and his stage dramas have been critically acclaimed by the general public. He has held solo concerts in Europe and South America. Known for his innocence and cute image, Junsu has always been the target of playful bullying in both TVXQ and JYJ. Junsu shares the title of richest K-Pop idol with Super Junior’s Siwon thought not sharing Siwon’s affluent family background. Junsu has a twin brother who is involved in the music industry.
Shim ‘Max’ Changmin is the youngest in the group. His vocals and ability to hit high notes have named him as one of the best vocalists in the industry. His high notes are so effortless to him that the managers of SM had to tell him to at least pretend to be putting in an effort or the public would accuse him of lip-syncing. After returning as a duo, Changmin's dancing skills have vastly improved. Changmin has acted in many dramas, most prominent of which are Athena & Paradise Ranch.
Changmin has been dubbed the Original Evil Maknae (youngest). Despite the importance placed on respect to elders in Korea, Changmin relentlessly bullies the older members and they are said to be terrified of him and his pure evil snarky retorts. His friendship with Super Junior's very own Evil Maknae Kyuhyun has resulted in a high-profile circle of similarly evil friends, called the Kyu-line.
TVXQ's vocals are F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S & is one of the very few groups who manage to sing better live than in the studio. Imo their Japanese songs are nicer than Korean ones lol

Big Bang is probably the biggest boy group in Korea atm. They've won loads of international awards ("Best Worldwide Act" at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards) and have quite a lot of celebrity fans (Adam Lambert included :’D). They’re known for their unique image, sound and for being trend-setters. They debuted with mainly hip-hop but now have branched out into various genres. They come from YG Entertainment, a company that stresses talent over popularity a lot and is PSY's company as well. They came on 2 consecutive episodes of Running Man to promote their latest album
LIES
Lies catapulted Big Bang to fame in 2007 and was written & composed entirely by G-Dragon. Writing & composing music in K-Pop is really rare and is therefore looked upon in awe.

TONIGHT
Tonight saw Big Bang's comeback as 5 after 2 years of solo activities. It became the very first K-pop album to reach the Top 10 on US iTunes chart and is the only non-English language album in the Top 100. Big Bang won the MTV EMA for Tonight.

His solo albums are doing really well and made it on to the Billboard charts. He has performed with FloRida and gave Nicole Formichetti, Lady Gaga’s designer, original music for his fashion show. Was involved in an age-inappropriate concert scandal as well as a minor drug scandal.

TOP is the silent, fierce member by outwardly appearance but can turn into a giggling goofball in an instant. Daesung is the sunshine of the group. With vocals that can melt your heart, and an eye smile to steal it, no one can dislike Daesung. People call him ugly but he’s got a literally stunning smile. He’s a huge goofball and is really good at acting the fool. As to whether it is simply acting or not...I cannot say. He is releasing a solo album these days. He was involved in a bad scandal last year, being involved in a car accident which resulted in the death of a motorist. He was on Family Outing with Yoo Jaesuk & Kim Jong Kook.

Seungri, the disastrous youngest member (known as maknae). Although he is the youngest, he is very talented in singing and dancing and has choreographed a lot of Big Bang's routines. When he goes on interviews, the rest of Big Bang is terrified because he is capable of ruining their images with the things he says. Very popular with the girls, he was involved in a very nasty sex scandal last year. You might have seen his hilarious side on Running Man smh
