I'm watching shows, giving my unnecessary opinions and then feeling incredibly anxious for posting. Let the cycle continue, and hopefully the last step will lessen over time.

Okay the Project Hail Mary fandom is now influencing my vocabulary. I blame you all! (said with love) I've got too used to how Rocky speaks in all these comics and now it's in my head!

I just actively said out loud 'why is this lady wearing this, question?' (I'm on the hunt for new trousers, I'm not judging people's daily attire as a hobby)

I have to say I'm disappointed in myself, and yet I should have seen this coming.

They actually recreated the Crystal Cave scene!! Do you know how happy I am! I've been hoping and waiting, but expecting disappointment.

I had convinced myself that, like most interactions from the first season, Zuko and Katara's moments would be filtered out in season 2.

So with this scene I held my breath, waiting for the camera-cut, continually surprised that we even got their conversation. I was still convinced that Katara's hand would never actually reach his face, that the camera would cut just before. But it actually happened, I watched her finger tips reach and touch his scar!

I'm so so happy that we got it in live action 💛💛

I just want to also say that the second season was what I hoped and more. So much better than the first, and they made Zuko's scar bigger too 😊

Just been thinking about how Spider (Heartbreak High) and Steve (Stranger things) both became dads coaches to tiny human sports teams because their ex girlfriends got freaked out when they (Spider/Steve) mentioned kids.

Both Heartbreak High and Young Royals ending their final seasons with best friends driving off into the distance. Perfect 💛

Going off to new adventures and experiences together, there's something that really gets me about that. I'm so grateful how much these shows value their character relationships!

In both series, you see all these characters go through so many struggles, so many fights and break ups, but in the end, no matter what, their friends are with them until the end.

I'm relieved to see shows that know what to do with their characters throughout the story and have well thought out and (mostly) logical story plots for all of them. There aren't characters left behind.

A love that they show complex relationships and complex characters. Because relationships and people aren't perfect. I love that you can see them struggling, but ultimately trying to do better! Just like we all are.

Three season series clearly is the perfect story length, and I'm so grateful both of these shows were able to finish their story!

Why is Hera removing her protective clothing to wear a low back wedding dress into battle? Please tell me this is not written in lore somewhere

In episode 3 of Dead Boy Detectives the Notary states how behind they are on their paperwork and it made me wonder, do they work forever or do ghosts in Dead Boy Detectives sleep?

And if not, if they wanted to sleep could they? Like how they can technically eat but it feels like eating sand. Can they sleep but it feels uncomfortable? Or do they just stay awake forever like a Twilight vampire?

I've tried to look this up but I can't find an answer. I know in one of the first episodes they mention getting an air mattress for Crystal to sleep on for the office. But as ghosts can't feel things technically, Charles and Edwin would have no need of something in particular to sleep on, or in fact need blankets at all.

Also how do ghosts acquire things? Like Edwin's clothes. Is there a ghost clothing shop? Do ghosts have ghost money to buy new ghost clothes?

As someone who's literally just finished the 5th and last book of Lockwood and Co. I want to say how really wonderful they are. The writing is so consistent, the story is so strong, their adventures are so gripping I can't put the books down when they're on a case. I'm so grateful to those on here who encouraged me to read them after I discovered the TV series. It's not a story I think I would have chosen myself, but I'm so very glad that I did. I've really thrown myself into these books, and I haven't been able to stop thinking and reading about them since. I absolutely love this gang, and am heartbroken that the story has ended.

I still can't get over the fact Netflix abandoned such an excellent story.

To those who have just recently joined this fandom like I have, I want you to know that you've stumbled upon such a genuinely lovely fandom.

Also, though it's been a year, the save Lockwood and co petition is still available to sign on change.org.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the rest of the story could be told one day 💛

Why did I decide to watch Lockwood & Co when I'm well aware it's been cancelled?...Because I told myself I would be fine if I knew going in.

Me, who gets obsessed with shows and lets them become my personality for months at a time.

And it turns out I was not fine, to no one's surprise, because now I love my sword wielding, ghost fighting, found family babies and their pet skull, who support and listen to each other and are so well written.

I may be strangely obsessed with a table cloth. I can't stop thinking about the set dressing which I adored. The characters who were cast perfectly and how much potential it had, and could have continued to have, if Netflix had realised the gem that it had when it had it, and gotten over it's obsession with fast trends, numbers, and actually listen to fans.

Say what you want about Bride Wars 2009...I'm sure I would if I watched it now.

But young me absolutely loved the idea that your best friend could be your soulmate.

No other film made me feel that the love for your friends could be so important, and that this love was just as valuable as one you could have with your partner.

Watching the fandom argue over Kataang or Zutara is like watching two friends who both love ice cream arguing about which flavour is better.

It's the first time Wille's looked at the camera like that, like the weight of the world has finally lifted, he looked at the camera happy.

That's what got me

I can't believe it took me half of the show 'One Day' to realise I'd watched the whole story before.

I kept thinking, why is this story so familiar? Why do I keep thinking about Anne Hathaway getting hit by a car?

The main difference to be honest, and possibly why I didn't think they were the same, is that Dex in the film always felt rather scummy to me and Emma was, in my opinion, played as pathetic and feeble. TV show Dex and Emma are different, the actors certainly took them on as their own.

Is it still hours of characters being miserable to end up miserably? Yes, and I thought I had imprinted the film into my head enough after already watching it twice (I'm terrible with names) so I would never accidentally watch it again, only to be fooled by the TV show.

What am I learning from this? Struggle all your life and when you finally get what you want life will take it away from you?

And still I debate if this story can really be classed as romance.

Media literacy is dead 😭 why am I reading so many people UPSET that Wilmon have a plot this season and aren’t just hanging out in love with no problems. Besties being publicly in a relationship with the crown prince of a nation is going to cause problems, we knew this going innnnn.
