"He Is Bigger" I was sitting at home and decided to pull out some pens and index cards to sketch and I ended up with something that actually spoke to me. The Blue represents the Lord. The orange represents trials and failures, etc. in life. It is horizontal to symbolize how sometimes they seem to go on and on. The pink represents the joys in life. It goes up to symbolize how we feel "up" in the good times. Both colors go into the blue to represent the Lord feeling and being there in the best and worst of times.

A Picture of Restoration (From Isaiah 54)

At one time you were like an young, abandoned wife thrown into deep distress. But the Lord calls you back. Have no fear, you will not experience disgrace and humiliation again. Your unfaithfulness and desperate loneliness are things of the past. For a moment you were alone but with deep love God will bring you back. His anger was just for a moment; now you will see His love forever. In the time of Noah, God promised to never flood the whole earth again. Now He promises to not return to His anger towards you or punish you. Mountains and hills may fall but His love for you will never end. This promise of peace is forever. In the past you suffered and no one comforted you. Now you will be rebuilt in beauty; with precious stones, stones that glow like fire, rubies and jewels all around you. Prosperity and peace will be given to you. Your strength will be in justice and righteousness. You will be protected from oppression and fear. If you are attacked, it is not from God; these enemies will fall. Remember, your Maker is as a husband to you, the LORD Almighty is His name and He loves you.

Doors

When one door closes another door opens. Even if it isn't exactly what you thought or wanted; God has a grand plan.

"God's promises are true, they are yes and amen." About a week ago I was having a really hard time and just pouring my heart out to God. In the middle of that I looked to my left and saw this huge rainbow, I mean the entire arch across the sky. Instantly a calm and awe washed over me and I heard "God's promises are true, they are yes and amen." So to all of you having a hard time right now, keep holding on, if God has promised you something it's coming. He's not a man that He should lie.
