-He was scared to death, he honestly wasn’t sure how this was going to go.
-The two of you had been together for three and a half years now. You got together at the start of basic training
.-But now you both were scouts, what you trained so hard to become.
-Bertholdt tenses in worry when he sees you walking towards him.
- You can’t help the small laugh, you hadn’t seen him this nervous sense he first asked you out.
-”What is it Bertholdt?” you ask and take his hand. -Bert was sweating his heart pounding in his ears. Would he be able to tell you.?-”I…” he starts but the words die in his throat. He swallows his nerves and looks you dead in the eyes.
-”I’m the colossal titan.” he gets out. You can only stare in shock because Bertholdt was never one to joke around like that.
-”Come on Bertholdt t-that’s not funny…” You try and gently scold him but you can see in his eyes that he wasn’t lying.
-”Y-you’re…?” Is all you can get out from the shock before he pulls you into a tight hug.
-”I’m sorry…” he chokes out voice cracking. You’re so stunned all you can do is hug back to try and soothe him.

-Mikasa understood your quietness, they were one of the few people she was actually comfortable around that wasn’t Eren of Armin.
-Which was rare to say the least.
-She too understood your slight coldness and bossiness but once she started to get to know you she understood your true colors.
-Mikasa ended up becoming very protective over you. She knew well that you could handle yourself, but she just wanted to ensure your safety.
-One of the few times people have ever seen Mikasa laugh, even if it really was just a snort is the first time you cursed at Eren.
-Eren had gone ahead in training leaving behind Mikasa and yourself, Mikasa quickly followed his lead but because of Eren they had lost because he decided to act on Jean's taunts. -”Excuse my language, but Eren what the hell was that!?” You yell angrily making Mikasa snort and have to cover her face from laughing. Everyone was shocked to say the least.
Levi
-Levi was always known to be cold so he understood where you came from.
- He was impressed with your strength which is why he wasn’t upset that Erwin had you join the Levi squad.
-You however were nervous as hell, after all going from scout’s for a month to joining the levi squad in less than half a month was shocking to say the least.
-Not to mention how cold Levi seemed to be. Only after a few months of being in the squad did you really start to understand some of the kindness he had.
-You really understood that the captain didn’t want to lose anymore people, that’s why he had you all train so hard.
-You had to be the one to ensure the captain ate, most days he was drowning in paperwork up to his head.
- Lord forgive anyone who insults you. Sure the captain was protective over everyone on his team but when someone insulted you people could see the anger radiating off him.
-”They go by they or them, You better get that through your thick skull before I make you into Titan bait understand?” Levi really could be scary sometimes.

Eren -You were utterly thrilled, you and Eren had been trying for a child for a while now.
-The two of you have finally settled down in a nice town, having talked a lot about a family. -Eren would be home any second and the town’s doctor had told you the results in your latest checkup.
-Eren comes in looking tired and yawns softly as he stretches. “I’m home…”
-You go over and hug him close “Welcome home!” Of course he picked up on your excitement as you were almost bouncing in joy.
-”What’s the occasion? You’re almost bouncing in joy.” he teases with a sleepy smile as he kisses your nose. - “Well, I made a big dinner, you know how I’ve been really hungry? It’s because I’m eating for two.” you put a hand on your stomach.
-Eren looks to you, then to your hand his sleepy brain slowly processing this as he drops his bag in surprise, going wide eyed. -”You’re…?” He looks up to you for confirmation, seeing your big grin with you nodding excitedly his tiredness quickly disappears. He goes over happily hugging you close and lifting you into the air laughing happily. - “I can’t wait!! Y/n, we’re going to be parents!” he spins you around excitedly making you laugh happily holding onto him. -”We are!” Once he sets you down you kiss his nose with a happy smile “You’re going to be the most amazing father Eren…”
-He holds you close, holding your waist resting his head on the top of your head pressing a gentle kiss. “And you’re going to be the most amazing mother Y/n.”

I hope you don't mind but could you also do headcanons of how reader would deal WITH Bertholtd's weird sleeping positions? And maybe also some headcanons of reader comforting bert after a nightmare and cuddling him to make him feel better. He's a big boy but he's a very sad and soft one 😭 he deserves more love
((Sorry for the late answer! I’ve gotten really busy with work, I’m working five days in a row 9-5 and then I close the last two days 5-1am so my poor sleep schedule is going to be a messs. I hope it’s worth the wait!)) Bertholdt
-Bertholdt is well, a nightmare to sleep with. Which is a shame because he’s always so sleepy and cute in the mornings.
-However, trying to fall asleep yourself is… Well, a challenge.
-You’ll both cuddle right up and those first few minutes of cuddles are the best moments of the night.
-That is until… Sleeping Bertholdt attacks…
-You wake up with bruises from Bertholdt’s arms, legs and even head flailing about.
-You’ve tried everything you could to protect yourself from the attacks, such as making an entire line of pillows down the bed. That attempt just ended up with you almost suffocating in the pillows sense Bert rolled on top of them.
-The second attempt was trying to tie Bert’s legs in blankets, but he broke free in the first hour. -Finally your last attempt was trying to lay on top of Bert to try and avoid all the flailing. It worked for most of the night until you woke up around 5am to see Bertholdt was now folded like a lawn chair over you.
-Just as you were about to give up and call it a night you see Bert shift uncomfortably a soft frown on his face. He starts to toss and turn making you worry.
-You gently shake him to try and get him to wake up “Bert…?” He gasps waking up quickly, sitting up looking around panicked. Sweat pouring from his face as he takes shaky breaths. -You carefully cup his cheeks in your hands. “Hey… Hey Bert it’s ok…” You gently rub your thumb along his cheek to try and calm him down. -Right away he relaxes at the contact and leans into your hand. - “T-Thank you Y/n…” He says softly, leaning into your hand. You could see it was still bothering him, but you also knew he didn’t like talking about his nightmares.
-”If you ever want to talk about your nightmares you can Bert… For now let’s cuddle alright?” You smile softly and lay back down with him in your arms. He smiles softly at that, placing a gentle kiss to your lips.
-”Thanks Y/n, Maybe one day I’ll tell you ok?” He says softly, holding you close to his chest.

-It was just a training day, everyone was working on whatever they wanted to practice on.
-That’s when he saw you flying through the branches with your odm gear, a big smile on your face, that's when he felt his heart skip a beat.
-At first he was confused about his emotions, he’s never had a crush before...
-He quickly realizes when you get close to him his heart pounds out of his chest, as well as a smile forms on his face when you’re excited. -After your first mission, where Armin lost his entire crew he was devastated. Non moving, not even speaking just staring at the ground. He didn’t deserve to be alive. Why was he the only one alive..? -You run over and hug him tightly, this breaks him and he clings to you feeling the shame rise in him.
-What if that was you…?
-Armin trained as hard as he could, but that’s not the only thing he began to work on. He worked on his courage.
-That’s why he stood outside your door, flowers in hand. Despite a few months passing he planned every detail he could for this moment, though he could never bring himself to do it. -Which is why he was just standing outside your door. He takes a breath and raises a hand to knock cheeks bright red.
-Was he going to do it this time? Just as he was about to knock on the door you open it blinking in surprise.
-”Armin…?” You ask curiously seeing his bright red face and the flowers in his hands. They were your favorite flowers too.
-”Y/n!” He squeaks out and takes a breath to control his emotions. He smiles softly down at the flowers.
-”Y/n… I… You’re the most amazing person I know… Not only are you an amazing fighter, you’re kind, loving and sweet to everyone no matter what.” he clenches the flowers a blush spreading across his cheeks.
-”I-I know I’m not very strong… But I’ll do whatever I can to protect you! N-Not that you need it or anything! It’s just… I love you Y/n.” he gives you the cutest smile you had ever seen that makes your heart burst with love. -You carefully take the flowers from his hands with a happy smile on your face. “I love you too Armin.” You lean forward and place a soft kiss to his lips.

-There you stood leaning against a tree just looking up at the sky. Bertholdt could only watch you from afar.
-Reiner gently bumps him to get his attention “Bert just go talk to them man.”
-Bert tenses at that blush crossing his face as he stutters before looking back at you with a sad look. “But…What if they hate me…? Reiner after what we’ve done… I don’t deserve her…”
-Reiner places a hand on his shoulder and gently squeezes it “Bertholdt, We were twelve during that…We were just following orders…Who knows how long this will last so, Enjoy it… Enjoy every second you can with her.”
-Bert goes to counter with something but Reiner starts to shove the taller male to you making him go bright red trying to fight against Reiner “Reiner! Stop!” He complains, getting your attention.
-Reiner only stops when Bert was right in front of you. With that he pats Bertholdt’s shoulder “Good luck Bert!” and he was off again, leaving a bright red flustered Bertholdt. You swear you could see the sweat running down his face. -You huff a soft laugh at that “Are you alright Bertholdt? Is Reiner messing with you again?” He stutters in surprise and takes a deep breath to try and calm down.
-”Well uh, no… He’s just… He wants me to confess that well.. I like you…? Oh that uh didn’t sound very cool, uh just, let me try again!” You were pretty sure all the blood he had rushed to his face. -Deciding to spare him, you lean up kissing his cheek with a smile on your face “I like you too Bert.”
-That was the best day of your life. After that the two of you would always hang out.
-You watched as Bert’s confidence grew and watched as he actually began to blossom in social situations. You couldn’t be prouder.
-That is until one night you see him hugging his knees at the tree where he asked you to be his.
-You quickly make your way over running when you hear his sobs and see his tall figure shaking. You run to his side and hug him tightly. “Bert… Bert what’s wrong?” You ask worriedly.
-He shoves you away with surprising force making you let go “Don’t!” he looks up at you tears streaming down his face “Y/n I’m a monster…”
-You feel your heart ache for him seeing the utter pain in his eyes “Bertholdt you aren’t a monster… Why would you-” He cuts you off.
-”So you don’t think the colossal titan is a monster Y/n? T-That was me… I did that…” He chokes out voice cracking. You could only stare in shock. Bertholdt… Your Bertholdt did that…?
-He had to be only twelve at the time… You could see the utter guilt swarming in his eyes and see that he was drowning in self hatred. You take a breath and reach over carefully hugging him again.
-”I don’t blame you.” You whisper softly to him. He was only twelve years old… Someone must have told him to do that… You hear his voice hic and he breaks down into you clinging and sobbing into your shoulder.
~Good End~
-A few months pass since that day, you had sworn to keep it a secret and even learned that Reiner was the Armored titan.
-”You couldn’t deny that you felt guilty keeping this a secret from everyone. They must feel even worse…
-You were lost in thought and accidentally bump into someone. “Sorry…” You say but before you could go on the person shoves you hard knocking you over. -”Watch where you’re going brat! What squad are you in!?” It was one of the snobby higher ups of the military police. He lifts his hand to hit you when you just give him a sharp glare.
-But the hit never comes. You look up to see Bert had the military police member’s wrist tilting it at an awkward angle.
-”Before you ask sir, I’m Bertholdt Hoover of the 104th corps and now a Survey Scout. If you feel the need you can put in a report to Captain Erwin or Captain Levi. However I will tell them the truth about how you raised a hand at one of my comrades, I have doubts that the Captains will be too thrilled knowing that you are harassing their subordinates.”
-The guy goes wide eyed letting out a growl before pulling his hand away and storming off angrily. You stare up at Bert in shock. He had never looked so angry before…
-He turns to you, eyes going soft in worry “Y/n are you alright? Did he hurt you too badly?” he helps you up and you happily kiss his lips. “I’m alright thanks…”
-Bertholdt actually stops moving from the surprise and goes bright red.
~Bad End~
-There you were on the top of the tower, Only able to watch in horror as the veterans are eaten right in front of you all. Bertholdt holds your arm with a look of terror across his face as he looks at the strange beast titan.
-”Hey Y/n…” He chokes out watching the sun set over the walls.
-”The outside world is a beautiful place… Full of things you could never imagine…” he backs up letting your arm go. You can only look at him in stunned silence.
-He carefully takes the knife from Connie, looking at how sharp it was a sad smile on his face. -”Things like an endless skyline… An ocean that reachs as far as you can see… Despite seeing all that… I think my favorite thing was meeting you.” he laughs pain in his voice as he gives you a pained smile.
-You and Reiner realize what he was planning at the same time “Bert!” You try and call but he takes a step back getting ready to sprint. “Reiner, please take care of her…” -”Hey Y/n… You loved someone like me… Despite my sins…” he starts to sprint and leaps off the tower giving you a bright smile as he flips back to look at you. “So for one last time… I love you Y/n!” He yells. Reiner pulls the others away from the edge getting as far away from the explosion that goes off. -As your ears are ringing you look around seeing that it was pitch black. But the roof starts to move and that’s when you see it. Bert had sheltered the top of the building in his hands cupping the tower in his hands. There stood the colossal titan.
-Only half of it had formed from the ribs up and you could only stare into those empty eyes. But you knew better, you could see the pain in Bert’s eyes. As you look around you could see the shock and terror on everyone’s faces.
-That’s when the support team comes and you see Captain Levi swooping in towards the colossal titan’s neck. -”Wait!” You try and scream trying to run to Bert but Reiner holds you back looking away.
-You see the blood spray and feel your heart shatter. “N-No…” You choke out before sobbing as you watch as the steam starts to rise to the sky.

😱 can you by chance do headcanons of the Levi squad (the new one with Jean and mikasa, Sasha, Armin ya know-) would respond as a whole to a member who’s like, a major mom? Like the same age as them but she’s always worrying and asking if their okay or if they’re getting enough sleep. Just kinda walks up during dinner and starts fixing somebody’s hair. Randomly offering up her shoulders as pillows and shit like. “Ah come lay on me sleep u need it.” Bonus if She’s the same way with Levi lol. 💖💖

Jean -Jean always has trouble sleeping, haunted by the memories of his dead comrades. There was nothing he could do now though.
-Despite knowing that, he still couldn’t sleep so he goes out of his room to try and get something to help sleep. -There you were right outside his door starling him but thankfully he doesn’t do anything but step back. -You blink in surprise that Jean was up this late but you smile softly at him. “Jean you aren’t sleeping well?” in truth you weren’t either.
-”Yeah… I just... Can’t seem to sleep..” he admits with a heavy sigh. You take his hand and pull him back into the room, you get into his bed and sit down. -”Come lay your head down on my lap… You need to sleep jean.” You say softly. Jean goes red at the thought but he makes his way over laying down on your lap. Closing his eyes to try and sleep. -You play with his hair to help him fall asleep and soon enough he does.
Mikasa
-Mikasa was in a constant state of stress. You noticed that the first time you met her.
-It took a few years until you got close to her as well as Eren and Armin. The four of you went through one hell of a ride.
-But here you were with Mikasa, sitting down on the bench with Armin sitting on the other side. Eren had to go do some special titan training.
-You take notice right away when Mikasa wasn’t eating. You take a spoon full of her food from her plate holding it to her lips. -”Mikasa, you need to eat.” she glances at you with a hesitant look.
-”You have to eat, you need to be strong enough to protect the people you care about right?” You give her a reassuring smile. She debates this before carefully eating the spoonful of food. -You feel your chest swell with pride. She really has come a long way from her hostility she once showed you.
-You end up feeding her the entire plate worth of food.

-Lost in thought your hook breaks off from the trunk of a tree as you attempt to swing, you go wide eyed as you lose your balance “Shit!”
-Just as you brace for the fall Eren swoops in and grabs you, grabbing onto a large branch and setting you down on it, sighing in relief. “Are you alright Y/n?”
-You look at Eren in surprise seeing how the setting sun made his black hair stand out even more, a soft blush crossing your cheeks. “Y/n?” He asks worriedly.
- You smile happily cupping his cheeks and kissing him on the lips. “Eren I Love you.” you laugh seeing his puzzled surprised look covered in a bright red blush.
-After that sweet moment you both crash into a branch sense he wasn’t paying attention.

-He’s honestly so nervous, After a rather tense mission where your squad hadn’t responded to a flare was when he decided to bring your relationship to the next level. -He finally understood just how little time the two of you might have together…
-Despite that he wanted to make it special. Though being in the scout regiment you barely had any days off, thankfully one was coming up.
-With Mikasa’s and Eren’s help he gets everything set up for this very special day.
-His heart was pounding in his chest, he was right outside your door.
- He was wearing one of his nicer shirts, Mikasa having helped with his hair and Eren helping with his clothes.
-Taking a breath for courage he knocks on your door. It takes a few seconds but you go to see who it was.
-There stood in front of you is a very nervous looking Armin, He hadn’t looked this nervous sense he first asked you out!
-”Is there something I can help you with Armin?~” you tease playfully leaning against the door frame.
-”Well uh, I actually want to show you something…” he manages to get out his cheeks dusted pink.
-You blink in surprise but follow after him as he leads you out of the dorms. You walk for a bit before you make it to a hill and that’s when you see it.
-There on a grassy hill was a large blanket and a lamp glowing brightly.
-The stars shine down on you both as you sit and chat away. That is until Armin carefully takes your hands into his. -”Y/n… I was really worried when you didn’t respond during the mission… I… I couldn’t help but think the worse…” He manages to get out refusing to look you in the eyes. You were about to say something until he quickly looked up staring you in the eyes.
- “But it also made me realize something! I… I might not be able to see you everyday… Who knows how long we have together… But…” he gently takes your hands squeezing them. -”I want to spend every day I have with you… I want you to know every single day how much I care about you… S-So that’s why…” he hesitantly looks to your lips and then your eyes shyly leaning in. -”I want us to share this moment… To always have this to look back on when things get hard…” his voice was just above a whisper now. You get swept up in the moment, taking his cheeks pressing your lips to his in a small peck but you could feel the sparks fly from just that. -When you pull away to breathe you could see Armin was a blushing mess and looking a little dazed. “Wow…” Is all he can get out making you laugh at him.

-Honestly really didn’t know what it meant. But she knew that she cared about you, so she brought you to her room so you could explain to her.
-Despite you spending hours explaining to her with her intently listening she would go to Armin for tips.
-Once she learns that pronouns are different for everyone she would go to you to learn what pronouns you would prefer.
-She’ll give one warning, and only one if someone gets your pronoun wrong. Then she’s beating their ass.
-Please help this woman with trying to get you gifts. You often have to tell her what you’d like or drop very obvious hints.
-You learned your lesson from the last time when almost all of the 104th asked you what you wanted, Mikasa kept asking everyone what they thought you’d like.
-She works really hard to find terms of endearment that were alright with you and not too awkward for her to say. The two of you agreed on “Love”. Only she’s allowed to call you this.
Armin
-If you thought Mikasa asked too many questions you are not ready for Armin.
-Oh my god, you spend all day doing your best to explain he’d even ask questions during training. -The second you tell him about it he thinks for a bit and asks what you would prefer to be called.
-He doesn’t even need to be reminded, he just goes with it. He’ll often remind everyone else about it when they mess up. -Armin is more so a man of ration then of fighting. So when people attempt to mess with you he destroys their arguments with nothing but words and a stern glare. He knows he couldn’t win in a hand to hand fight but he’s still going to protect you how he knows how too.
-Everyone was stunned to say the least but when night comes around he’ll hold you close in the bed and nuzzle into the crook of your neck. “They just don’t understand how amazing you are Y/n…”
-He tries to come up with names right away. “Love, honey, sweet but you both decide on dove.” You give him a sense of freedom when you’re with him… A chance to forget the world you both live in.
Levi
-He stays quiet while you explain but you can easily tell that he was listening, his eyes trained on you. - By the end of the night he asks your preferred terms seemingly understanding now.
-It didn’t bother him and nothing really changed, you felt well, silly for worrying.
-Levi will 100% throw down the second someone tries to insult you for it. He’ll strike the fear of god into them for that. You have to stop him before he actually does kill the poor soul. -He’s actually really good with your pronouns. Hanji told you about how he practiced your pronouns in the mirror.
-Honestly if looks could kill Hanji would have been dead ten times over when Levi overhears that.

Eren
-Eren gets stressed to say the least when you two start finals.
-It honestly wasn’t too surprising, Eren wasn’t the best when it came to studies but he was really trying.
-”What the hell, It should be x=6 Y/n!” He complains dropping his pencil, groaning and laying back on the bed.
-You huff quietly at that “It’s x=5 Eren…” You set the book down. -”Why don’t we take a bath together?” Eren goes dead quiet before sitting up quickly, a blush crossing his cheeks. “Huh?”
-You laugh at that shaking your head “Just to help relax Eren…” You pull him to the bathroom and get undressed. You wash Eren’s hair for him carefully rubbing the shampoo into his hair.
-You could see Eren’s shoulders relax visibly and you gently kiss the back of his neck. Which thankfully didn’t have soap on it.
Levi
-You had been trying to convince him for ages. -”Levi please? It’ll be really relaxing and nice!” you try once again making him huff in annoyance.
-”No Y/n do you even know how filthy baths are? You’re sitting in all the things you wanted to get off.” -After countless days of begging he gives in, with the requirement you both take a shower beforehand.
-Once the requirements were seen too you both slip into the tub. Levi was well tense. -You snuggle up into his shoulder lovingly. After a few minutes you notice that he relaxes into your embrace.
-You glance over at him and blink in surprise seeing that he had fallen asleep in your arms. How cute!
Armin
-”Hey Armin…? We should take a bath together.”
-Armin blinks in surprise a few times looking up from his book a blush crossing his cheeks.
-”H-huh?” he manages to squeak out. You two were supposed to be studying! -”It’s just we’ve been working so hard I thought it’d be nice…” You sigh softly not wanting to push Armin or make him uncomfortable. -”If you don’t want too Armin…” He quickly takes your hand to get you to stop. -”I-It’s not that! I-I think it’d be nice…” You smile excitedly and get you both into the bath. -Armin is well, tense the entire time feeling your chest pressed up against his back but he really did enjoy it!
