Hello! You can call me Minny, I'm a teen who's new(er) to Hellenic polytheism. I'm devoted to Lady Aphrodite. I worship Lord Hypnos, King Zeus, Queen Persephone, and King Poseidon. Though, I'm thinking of introducing myself to other deities, and possibly worship them as well. This blog is to give and recieve advice, share prayers, and other things regarding Hellenic polytheism. <3 (Also, I am not a witch, so please do not ask me about spells or (working) with deities. There's plenty of lovely blogs for that. I have nothing against witches, I just am not one. Even so I hope that witches and non-witches can find a comfortable space here, on my blog.)

I’d like to formally apologize for my absence on this blog recently, I have been quite busy with the end of the school year, and in all honestly my mental health hasn’t been the greatest overall. I plan to post much more during the summer, blessed be.

Tarot

It is my birthday now as of 12am, and I was opening gifts from my Tia, who is a bit more spiritual than most, she is catholic but has dabbled in other religions, she got me a Greek Mythos tarot set, one card for each of the Greek gods/titans. My parents are taking them away, due to their own religious reasons, unfortunately, but it was nice to be seen.

Theogamia.

I’m celebrating Theogamia today, and it’s been lovely. I offered King Zeus and Queen Hera, rose petals and a few treats. I plan to offer a bit more later.

Being Devoted To Lady Aphrodite.

I have been a devotee of Lady Aphrodite’s for around a year, it’s definitely had its ups and downs. I struggle with positive self image quite often, and have suffered with eating disorders for a few years now. It often makes me feel bad, I know Lady Aphrodite wouldn’t approve of my negative self talk. This has lead to a bit of guilt when praying to her, or when I do something I think she won’t like. But all the same I know she cares for me, I even with my struggles and shortcomings continue to devote myself to her always. I know that she will guide me out of my struggles and help me get stronger in all aspects, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
