It's my first day on this blog, so i figured that i would introduce myself! you can call me rose, and i'm a not-so-beginner witch who is finally trying to be more consistent with her practice!

I'm in college, studying neuroscience and french!

I'm currently learning my third language (french!) but I'm fluent in spanish and english (english is my first language but I started learning spanish formally at age 4). feel free to write me in any of these languages! I need the practice, lol.

I primarily practice via tarot at the moment due to space constraints, but I am trying to get more into green/crystal/kitchen witchcraft

I'm a product of the Greek/Asia Minor diaspora of the early 1900s, so I am trying to reconnect with my Greek roots as much as possible (hopefully through my practice as well!)

This blog is probably mostly going to be me reblogging references for myself, but I also hope to become more regular about reflecting on my own practice. I would love to make some witchy friends, so don't hesitate to reach out!

to begin, i felt called to use my LOTR deck for your reading. not sure if it's significant to you in any way!

here's your tarot:

this is really, really positive! when I see the judgement card, the first thing I think of is reckoning. Especially with the world at the bottom of the deck, there definitely seems to be a closing of a cycle here. The 7 of pentacles (or seven of rings in this deck) is often about waiting for the results of a manifestation or hard work.

I'm wondering if you've dropped some hints recently, whether unintentionally or intentionally. It seems like these hints will be addressed the next time you speak. Maybe if you haven't hinted at anything yet, now would be a good time to start! It seems like doing so will yield great results!

The guidebook for this deck mentions an opportunity coming with the judgement card, so you may get a chance to confess your feelings (if your crush doesn't confess theirs first!). That's something I forgot to mention initially--the 7 of pentacles may also indicate that they've been sitting on some feelings of their own for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if the two of you are mirroring each other and the next time you both see each other you realize it, and are like "wow, I was so silly to think it was one-sided this whole time!"

firstly, i just wanted to let you know that as i was channeling, i saw a dragon (like the face of a traditional chinese dragon) as well as a sort of purple aura that took over my vision in my mind's eye. not sure if either of those things are significant to you, but they did come through!

now for the tarot:

firstly, 🧧 strikes me as a very secure person. the king of pentacles, which represents the underlying energy of the situation to me, is a very confident and generous person. you may generally find their presence to be grounding. secondly, they were definitely waiting on you, but it doesn't seem like an anxious type of waiting. the two of you may have had some unfinished business, maybe a conversation to revisit upon your return, but 🧧 was confident that they would be able to have that conversation with you eventually. maybe the two of you even had a discussion about something before you left and decided that the trip would be a good time to mull things over? the seven of pentacles is all about waiting for the fruits of your labor to blossom, which is what is making me think that there is something in the works between the two of you.

overall, if you were worried about this person missing you, they definitely did! they're just very well-adjusted and secure and probably weren't worried about when they would see you again. maybe you were shocked by a lack of communication from them while on the trip or something, and if that's the case, this reading should hopefully assure you that it wasn't because of a lack of interest.

The main message I’m getting here for you is that it’s important for you to hold onto your hope, but to release some of the expectations you have surrounding this situation. I'm not sure how much my personal word counts, but I've been told by friends I've been very accurate in the past! There are two instances I know of where I've predicted timelines basically down to the right day.
