Do you ever just think about how Aziraphale mentioned knowing angel!Crowley and Crowley didn't bat an eye. Aziraphale knew the angel he was, and he knew that that sweet little beam wouldn't dare hurt those goats. He probably spent time getting to know him, got to see what kind of person he actually was. Only to lose him after the Revolution.

They were friends. Before it all they were good friends, they knew each other. And that's why Aziraphale was so sure that neither Crowley nor that angel would hurt the goats for something so stupid as a bet. He knew the angel but he knew Crowley better, no matter what he said.

I don't know but after this, it feels like they get to spend more time together as angels before the Fall. Maybe more things happened that push Crowley closer and closer to revolution.
