Disciple thinks about him a lot-- in a variety of ways.  His relationship with Kasvik and Ymirra, the years and years he spent cut off from all of them. She is often afraid-- afraid that she could do more to help him, and afraid that she ultimately can’t.  She doesn’t like being reminded how splintered her clan has become, how little can truly soothe that kind of hurt.  She thinks about how unfair it is that he’s had so much of his personhood taken away from him, how the things she remembers are from a past so distant he couldn’t be faulted if he didn’t remember them.  

She feels a lot of things about him, but all of them hurt.

On Xmas day, a couple of packages are left for Kasvik, Huntress, and Sileas. For Huntress, the gift is small: it is a framed photo of Disciple and Signless on LoFaF. They aren’t posing; this was back when Terezi had begun to snap photos of the first scene off the UU after landing. The duo are a little fuzzy on the edges as this was clearly part of a larger picture (resized and cropped), but Terezi hoped she’d enjoy nonetheless evenifFirstShipiscurrentlyfighting.

THE CAT WILL ENJOY THIS.  She is currently wearing it, since winter planet is CHILLY.  She doesn’t really understand the significance of the day or why she suddenly has a present, but if she tracks down whoever gave her this, they will probably wind up with a dead thing on their doorstep.  Merry Christmas!

UNCLE BRO: -Okay, how does one find a cat? Honestly, Bruncle didn't know. Still, he looked at the ships roster. Signless' room made as much sense as any, so he guessed he'd start there, knocking on the door and hoping to whatever deity that kasvik wasn't there-

DISCIPLE: -The good news is that Kasvik is not there right now. The Bad is that the Disciple is not, either.  She is standing behind brucle with a baby hanging onto her head.  When did she even get there?-

DISCIPLE: ....Rrrrrrr.

UNCLE BRO: -He turns and is greeted by...this sight. Is that safe for the baby? Probably.-

DISCIPLE: Is name she hears.  She will answer to it.  -She is still kind of terse, after what happened, but at least now that she knows, she is not hostile.  Sileas babbles at Dave, curls of her hair wrapped around his fingers.-

UNCLE BRO: Yeah aight i dont know any other way to roll this than to just be up front like the most fronted of ups and here it goes like this is the most new pussycat except it aint because i been carryin this for like a week but mirra deserves better than that ya dig which we might have to do considering her state right now but if we need something to put in that hole then i might have the remedy

DISCIPLE: -She sniffs at it, as soon as its in her hand, her grip on its surface exceedingly gentle in case she risks damaging the unknown technology.  She rests her forehead against it.  It didn't smell like much of anything, and maybe she was hoping for... Something of her to be there.  Still, it was more than she had a moment ago.-

DISCIPLE: Is sorry. -She murmurs, quietly.-

UNCLE BRO: -It was definitely less formal, this technology, but thankfully it was keeping her body preserved. Dave was sure he was intruding on an intimate moment, something not meant for him.-
