I think it’s fun to think that there’s some silent rubber band economy, specifically with these kind of small, thin, blue rubber bands.

This might only be accessible to a specific audience, but these blue rubber bands are everywhere.

I think they originate around green onion and cilantro bundles at the store, to keep separate stalks and branches together. I wouldn’t be surprised if restaurant owners decided to then make use of these rubber bands, because I also get them from Bahn Mi sandwiches that are wrapped up for take out. And tied bags that carry liquids for Khao poon. Foods that use green onions and cilantro. But some people (me and my family) keep them for their own purposes, like, idk, maybe tying a bag to give to someone else, thus continuously trading this rubber band like one would do money. And these blue rubber bands are just continuously recycled over and over and are passed on from family to family.

And I hope the small, thin, blue rubber band economy is going great in this world.

Looking for scholarships is so weird because- like- you're looking for a scholarship and you see one for like, $10,000 and you try to apply, but you have to make an account for this Scholarship Finding Website (tm), so you go through the whole process of who you are, level of education, your hobbies, you veteran status, your social security number, your mother's maiden name, your exact house address, etc. (Those are not exaggerations, might I add) and then after that, you give them a good email address and they'll say "Sorry, you already have an account, try logging in instead (you fricken chump)" and then when you log in, you lose access to the scholarship you were offered. And when you try to give this Scholarship Finding Website (tm) a chance, it finds scholarships from other Scholarship Finding Websites (tm), which if you click those links to try to apply, leads you to a separate Other Scholarship Finding Website (tm) that also makes you go through the whole process of making an account, before not offering the scholarship that intrigued you in the first place, and instead gives you a list of scholarships the website found that other other Scholarship Finding Websites (tm) offers, and when you try to apply to that scholarship, it leads you to another separate Other Other Scholarship Finding Website (tm) and doesn't let you apply for a scholarship until you make an account and then-

Love that when Rocky is recovering from stepping into Grace’s atmosphere (I say as if it is not also my atmosphere) that Grace doesn’t talk and narrate into the camera like he usually does.

He talks as if he’s talking to Rocky and Rocky can still hear him.

I like the idea that Grace gave Rocky the idea to make the ball and make a Xenonite suit so he could go into Earth’s atmosphere.

Like, humans have to do most of the fixing on the ship, inside and out. So they have the spacesuit to be able to go out in space. Eridians didn’t think to use suits, they thought to use robots, or those robot arms, to fix anything outside of the ships.

But Rocky saw Grace walking about in the space suit so he could survive the grand vacuum that is space and was like “oooohhh…. I’m gonna steal that.”
