it seems that a lot of my friends are requesting tarts for their birthdays nowadays.. and the apple wings are becoming like my personal signature touch haha
this is a new creation! White Chocolate Mousse with a macadamia nut caramel sandwiched in between layers :)

Tiramisu Cups: Cream cheese mousse with sponge cake soaked in a shot of strong coffee and baileys layered in between
baked some dome shaped orange chiffon cake for grandpa to enjoy, because granddaddy is on a very strict dietary restriction.. which limits his fruit selections.. :(
Mango Mousse Cups
i had left over mango mousse that was too delicious to throw away, so i whipped out my wine glasses and made a mini mango mousse parfait out of them ^__^
layered the same ingredients that i used for the cake into the cups and made an entirely new presentation

all the ingredients were fresh and no pre-mixes or fruit purees were used ^__^

square custard cream tart filled with freshly sliced fruits (strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, raspberries) and garnished with almond nibs and apricot glaze, topped with chocolate eggs

This is a vanilla cake filled with pastry cream, fresh strawberries, with a dollop of whipped cream and a sweet strawberry as a topper. Simple and tasty.

Macaron Macaron?
Baking session with classmates. We decided to take on something that has taken the world by storm: Macarons!
Macarons are notoriously fussy creatures. They hate water, oil and cannot be left standing alone for too long. Just like little kids.
Filling the shells with chocolate ganache.
One thing I've got to add: I love the colours you can get for macarons. So pretty.
