temp. hiatus.

Hi all, so… it’s the big day tomorrow.

I’ll be travelling to Florence, Italy from the 4th (tomorrow) to the 5th, and likely won’t really have time to get on until the 6th, and possibly later in the week. I’ll be busy at orientation on the 7th-9th and also getting myself acquainted with my host family as well as the city itself, and the school along with my fellow students.

So activity on ALL my blogs will be halted. The time zone is very different - expect me to be on at night Italian time, which will probably be when most of you are asleep, so I’ll try to queue things up so they run when I was on during the summer.

So it had been THIS type of person - a blonde woman with a heart of gold and a mind as soft as freshly washed sheets. BLEACHED too. Poor thing. She didn’t stand a fucking CHANCE. How unfortunate that SHE’D come across the Death Note.

Light considered just about everything to be out of turn considering the circumstances. Having L. on their asses certainly wasn’t helping the palpable tension in the room. And hell, if he was gonna get pissed on for trying to remind Light of the fact that he got REALLY fucked up without his fix, then what was the point in--

Focus Ryuk, FOCUS! He has the Note. AND he’s fun, so maybe do what he says just to be a nice guy? ...Right. A nice guy. Ho ho ho... Sure.

He assumes that dumb grin he often gave Light in situations such as this - the dumbfounded puppy-dog one - enough to suggest that indeed, he was Light’s insurmountable immortal pet - a god of death, reduced to THIS. 

Or so his PEERS must have thought. Eh, fuck ‘em. The hell do THEY know anyways?

“Heh heh... fair enough. Yer th' boss.” He responds easily. Light was a fucking smartass, but then again... SO WAS RYUK, minus the “smart” part. Assholes stuck together, didn’t they? Seemed about right. “Yeah. I looked. Those 60-something cameras're gone now. Looks like th' microphones are too - I mean, there’s no statick-y sounds, so that’s good, right?”

“‘Cause that’d be fucked if there were. ‘Cept I don’t think there’s any. Wouldn’t your sister or parents have found any other microphones by now? Or c’mon... YOU’D know.”

he’s got a short life...:

He says this with a rather straight face - or perhaps as straight as one can get looking as he does; rarely does he emote, as often his lips are pulled into a tricky grin. A frightening grin. A HORRIFYING, TRICKSTER GRIN that could suggest a multitude of things.

Though most merely assumed it was a petrified expression that he had simply been born with. Fair enough. Maybe this kid wasn’t all that different - didn’t look HALF as put together as Light had all those years ago.

But funny enough?

This screenshot is crappy quality but here is some proof that Ryuk is not as dumb as he looks or acts. Right here. If he has the ability to trick the Shinigami King into giving him a second Death Note, that suggests that he is actually quite the trickster, and is more fitting to be Light’s Shinigami than one may give him credit for.

I’ll expand on this later, but for now this is some fascinating shit.

semi-hiatus.

I know I made this blog like... yesterday night, but this notice is going to apply for all of my blogs. 

Starting on 9/4/17, I will be travelling to Italy to start my year abroad. I’ll be in a different time zone, a different culture, and will be learning Italian. I will likely not be able to get on very much as I did during the summer.

Basically, this means I won’t be prioritizing Tumblr and instead focusing on my studies and my own writing endeavors moreso than RP. When I DO get on, I will definitely be making use of the queue to get replies up rather than posting things. I will update my rules to reflect this change.

This may also mean I’ll drop threads without warning, completely miss ask memes I reblog, and suffer from some blog clutter. However, I’ll make sure all my blogs are clean to the best of my ability!

Finally, mutuals can find me on Discord, or alternatively at my personal Twitter; both are available by asking for them in the IMs. And of course, if neither is attractive to you, feel free to talk to me in the IMs themselves.
