It’s about Nico de Varona claiming to hate her and yet knowing it’s the opposite and her doing the same. About him knowing her quirks so well that when one’s missing he immediately picks up on it. About him getting so used to her nicknames for him that he starts using them himself. About knowing they’re the obvious comparison but still seeking her out first for an alliance. About the fact he felt comfortable pushing himself to his limits cause he knew he’d be safe as long as she was near. About him falling to his knees at the sight of her death. About the fact that if she was really gone he’d know, he’d feel it. About the fact that he’d know the shape of her anywhere.

It’s about Libby Rhodes promising herself to never speak to him after graduation and yet still being inexplicably drawn to him. About knowing, feeling with out any effort the swing in his moods and him easily doing the same. About refusing to let him to exhaust himself to death because it would be unforgivable to her. About always choosing the seat next to him despite their animosity. About that tinge of jealousy when it seems he’s found someone new. About her knowing just from a tremor that he needed her. About the fact that she can put aside her unending questions to help him when she can see he needs it. About making him promise to ask her for help should he need it. About how she takes care of him after he’s pushed himself to the brink.

It’s about the fact that they are binary stars, they’re two sides of the same coin, always in the others trajectory, woven together so tightly that sometimes they’re not even sure who’s who. About how how with out the other they’d have wouldn’t have even considered the offer, Atlas could never have gotten one with out the other. About how separately they’re good, great even. But together? Indescribable. About the fact that no matter how you try they’re inseverable, always bound to the other.

I’m just. so thoroughly obsessed with Ambrosius Goldenloin.

homegirl has THE STUPIDEST NAME EVER. he’s the director’s model minority stereotype pawn. he’s a sweetheart he’s a goofball he’s socially anxious he just wants to do the right thing he’s trying to be what everyone else wants him to be while simultaneously questioning his entire life. his hair is clearly bleached and his voice actor said that if you ever find a gay man with bleached hair you know he’s going through a crisis. he represents mixed race issues with “the blood of gloreth” being whiteness which the director used to put him on a pedestal and then discarded him when he began to fight against/question her system. he is rightfully angry when he goes to question the director whereas before he’d been keeping it all hidden. he smiles at the best possible moments in his dialogue. his armor is gold. he’s physically and verbally affectionate. he’s a dork and his hair smells like lavender. he’s allergic to olives. he’s dating public enemy number one. he chopped his boyfriend’s arm off. he changes his worldview when he realizes the system he’d perpetuated was hurting people. he throws himself into hugs. his boyfriend hates freestyle jazz. he just wants to solve the conflict without people getting hurt.

also just. he’s the main character’s gay lover and his name is Nectarofthegods Greatinbed. what do you WANT from him

MY PYNCH FIC IS FINALLY COMPLETE !!

Eventually, a torturous hour after the party began, there’s a knock at the door. Nobody pays much attention to Ronan when he bolts up from his seat and swings open the door with much more force than is necessary.

Adam’s eyebrows are in his hairline, clearly surprised at the speed at which Ronan answered the door, his mouth fixed in an awkward smile. He’s clutching a wine bottle in hand, knuckles white around the neck of it. Ronan’s brain absently takes note of this but the majority of his mind is taken up by green. The colour of the fields, of the forest at the edge of their home, the colour of his mother’s kind eyes. The green he and Adam had painted his parent’s bedroom, the green that was splattered across their clothes, their cheeks, their hair. Ronan was right: it does suit him.

They weren’t just going to hit the zoo. Declan got Ronan a whole ass membership for his birthday. I hope after the dreamer trilogy ends Ronan uses it and becomes a regular. All the zoo employees know him as the goth guy who comes around every Sunday afternoon to look at the flamingos.

CHAPTER 5/6 sneak peek

After church on Sunday, Ronan pulls into the wide driveway of Boyd’s Garage. The BMW is running fine but a check up never hurts. At least that’s the justification he’ll give Gansey if he ever finds out.

His real reason for being here appears moments later. It takes a moment for Ronan to realise it’s Adam, so used to seeing him in the white painters’ uniform. And, while white makes him look like a gift from God, the blue overalls he’s wearing now make him appear more real, human. It’s even more attractive. Fucking hell.

Ronan has to stop himself by pressing his head to the steering wheel in longing despair as Adam approaches, expression shifting from downright bored to something more when he realises who exactly is behind the wheel. He leans over the bonnet of the car, upper body stretching over the hot metal so he can meet Ronan’s eyes through the window. There’s circles below his eyes but he doesn’t seem too tired as he grins and raises a hand in a small wave. Again: fucking hell.
