After not posting and drawing anything for months I’m coming back with a new oc 😭 I have no idea if I’ll draw him again but I’ll try to force myself bc he’s cool and I haven’t drawn humans for a loonnnng time and I want to improve. So here’s Wolfgang Maverick a cowboy metalhead, I just wanted to mix cowboys and metalheads bc both are cool. I don’t have lore for him yet but I hope you’ll like him so far :) this is just a sketch btw

This will probably get me a lot of hate, and it's only my personal opinion, but I headcanon that Yautja don't naturally see in infrared vision. I think their natural vision is either dichromatic, or they probably have access to more colors than the human eye.

If they saw only in thermal, it would make it difficult for them to use their equipment and technology, especially the vision modes of their masks - which in addition to the EM and infrared, also includes ultraviolet and x-ray settings.

Also, while they do have a lot of reptilian traits, they also have mammalian traits. Add in that they're bipedal and omnivorous (they probably favor a meat-based diet on the hunt but have a more varied diet on Yautja Prime), it would be disadvantageous (dangerously) for them to see only in thermal vision.

I think they prefer the thermal vision (and the Xeno EM vision) because it makes it easier to track their prey, especially because many animals (humans included) are adept at camouflage. This is why we see City Hunter using multiple vision settings in Predator 2, which was probably developed after studying the data from Jungle Hunter's mask.

Imagine if Jungle Hunter had as many vision options as City Hunter. Dutch would have been beyond fucked.

I just watched a video with all the different yautjas in predator hunting grounds and I saw this Viking guy

I realised that Bahk’tan also has a skull on one of his shoulders, fur, an axe and 2 wristblades. I LOVE Vikings so… I will most likely give Bahk’tan some Vikings equipment (if I find motivation 💀)

HEY GUYS!!! I have some awesome news!

SHOUT OUT TO @shaymin-99 for helping me bring this to life! 1/3 of the Nomad Clan Predator Comic is finished including the cover! It’s been in development for awhile now and now that I have permission, Imma be showing it off via video and leaving the pictures here if I can! I hope you guys enjoy what’s coming!

(Shaymin I wanna note, is drawing the whole comic, I simply wrote the story. However some things will be changed to fit both our vision)
