And it only took another moment for him to have gathered QUITE an eyeful of her beauty—her freshness, her glistening, ocean-blue eyes, that silky blonde hair he used to slip his fingers through adoringly. He bolted toward her then, and his strong arms were around her in only a second.

The tears had finally overflowed now, and he stood bawling in front of his lover. “ OH, my love ! I have missed you so! NEVER forgive me for how long I have left you alone—alone to fend for yourself—alone to care for the children—alone to protect yourself whilst I ran away to think only of myself. Words will never describe how delighted I am to see you again, my love, and words will never describe how remorseful for what I have done to you, ” the man lamented, his hands cupping her cheeks and lifting her face to his.

And that was all he could muster between sobs before completely losing it once again.
