If I’m not wrong, the Season 5 artworks were done by the anime team (correct me if I’m wrong, and let me know their names if you know). Am I the only one who kinda wishes the anime actually looked like this? Don’t get me wrong, I’m super happy we even got a new season after 10 years, but it just… doesn’t feel like Kuroshitsuji anymore. The animation feels way too bright and overly polished, plus there are so many still shots. I really wish they’d gone with something closer to these pictures, more of a classical, gothic vibe instead of the shiny look we got.
