this implies that the ability to provide milk would both decrease the likelihood of a man abandoning his wife and children, as it would eliminate the need for leaving to get milk AND would secure that man's marriage, as his wife would have no need to seek milk from an extraneous source.

therefore, all men should produce milk, through various means such as:

One of my favorite part of Abbot Elementary is that Jacob is this cringey too woke guy and as the show progresses he’s revealed to be actually educated on racial politics and America’s history of anti-blackness, he’s just bad at expressing that and is kinda cringe about it, the episode where he gets audited and Ava discovers his class on Black History is genuinely very insightful and even covers how MLK was anti capitalist was pure cinema, a worse show would’ve made fun of him for being anti-racist

Midnight burger really does an incredible job of having hope as a theme; but like, the teeth-gnashing, tongue-biting, everything-tastes-like-iron-and-dread kind of hope. Everything is fucked and they only get more fucked as time goes on. But they also get better as time goes on. And maybe they don't get always better, but they make it through so that they can get better someday, y'know?

Hopeful not because we can believe but because we must believe. Hopeful in blood, sweat, and tears way.
