Hi! Heres a lil tut on how to navigate Github!

After clicking the link you'll get taken to the README file. On the far next to "main" left you can find a box with an arrow inside.

once you click it, it'll show you the 2 files! One of them called "CSS" Just click on that and youll find the code for the site skin :)

—To copy the entire CSS just click on the two boxes next to "Raw"

( Alternatively you can access the Docs link which has two tabs, one of them called "CSS" ^_^ )

hii,, im so desperate for more dark mode themes!!! can i put in a request for a dark mode piano theme and/or a dark mode theme like the dove one you just made? 👀👀 it’s so cute but i cannot take the brightness 💔

UPDATE: Adjustments for mobile users & Text

background images for the blurb are changed so they fit better in phone screens (wont cause major differences for desktop)

border that appears within the blurb after creating/editing bookmark is changed

Text in workskin is bigger (16px)

text in summary, blurb, and workskin is now the same font & font size.

changed colour of Inbox checkmark that appears

Replying via inbox now has a bg behind it.

CSS in the github/docs of the original post is updated already. Reupload the CSS to have the updates listed :)

MAJOR UPDATE: Adjustments for mobile users & Text

Unfortunately I don't take commissions since its against Ao3's guidelines. But I'm more than happy to take requests (you can dm me or send in an ask)!! It might take a while for me to start working on a req but I try to make them when I can ^_^

I hope someone likes it and puts it to use! I put a lot of effort into it, but since this is my first time working with CSS code, it’s a bit disorganized; there may also be parts that conflict with each other or simply aren't needed.

Dark MINIMALIST AO3 Skin

Chalk on charcoal and one petal of poppy red.

Georgia body text, drop cap on the chapter opening

Rating and category icons redrawn as type. The sprite images are gone; ratings show as G / T / M / E, categories as F/M, M/M, F/F, GEN, MULTI. Explicit stays red. The red is lighter for the dark version to improve readability.

Relationship tags and characters set in all caps, additional tags stay lowercase so the differentiation is easier. Warnings in red, CCNTW is black but bolded.

Romantic ships get a line under them, platonic ones don't, making it easier to see which relationships are romantic at a glance

Visited works show a darker line under the title

Styled all the way down: stats, subscriptions, chapter index, inbox, comment threads

Removed the social links and news section of the homepage to move the unread messages up. Marked for later is now full page width on the homepage. Gives both functions more functionality and visibility.

Skin is fully functional on mobile.

Statistics page is reworked. The stats graphic and the year selector had to go, it was not possible to css style it. (shoot me a message and I will let you know what to remove to bring it back)

mute banner is hidden, all other banners show up

this skin was customized to my needs and taste, which might not be the same as yours, please feel free to make changes to make it your own

Before you install: The display font is Didot, which comes with macOS and needs to be added to other OS, to get the full experience please download and install that font.
