So guess who just found out he’s been considered a missing person since he was 3

So I found out what my original birth planet was yesterday. I debated back and forth for a bit but I decided that I am going to go after Life day. If anyone knows anyone from Corvus, I’d appreciate knowing a bit about what to expect. I never really thought that I’d ever even know where I was from, so actually going there is going to be.. interesting

So I decided to take @thevagabondexpress advice and long story short when you start getting frustrated you can’t find that one part in two days look under the bed on the left side

I try to keep my holos upbeat on the most part but sometimes things just drag on..I am physically and mentally exhausted. I am “lucky” enough that my connection to the Force is.. unique..but after an entire week of the Council trying to force my abilities... I’m tired. They said that I mustve lost some of my ability sometime when I was transitioning into adulthood and I know it’s not true, it’s just all so much less clear than it was before and some Council members are starting to think it’s become unreliable because of how frustratingly vague it all can be. I am half convinced that it is all this pressure they are putting on me that is causing the problem in the first place!

I’m feeling a little nostalgic for my padawan days with my old Master Virgil. He has this absolutely wild energy about him and if I had a credit for every planet I went to with him while a padawan just because he had a feeling or a whim and followed it, I’d honestly have more money than Id be comfortable with

It has come to my attention that some of yall think that just because I’m a Jedi means that I cannot have any type of body mods or tattoos. I cannot emphasize how wrong that is. I have a grand total of 16 piercings (3 lobes each ear, 2 helix and a conch left ear, helix and industrial bar right ear, nose bridge piercing, and snake bites) and 4 tattoos. I know a lot of other Jedi who have all sorts of body mods including technological mods for personal or cultural reasons. Yes we are all part of the Force, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be yourself or express your culture. The Force is a lot like life itself, there is so much diversity throuought all the galaxy, of course that is going to be reflected as much as it can in the Order.

Sleep is weird, like what do you mean that I am physically exhausted but nooo, the brain decided “hey wanna have some horrifying and visceral nightmares?” And then I just have to either go directly back to that or continue being exhausted.

This is unrelated to it being like 2 am my time

So with rots around the corner and my hyperfixation in this set again tenfold, I was wondering if anyone wanted to plan something with me, we are entering the era that i literally designed Del for, a prophet who sees the future and Knows what will occur but is met with disbelief by the council due to his age and newness of being knighted. I have not kept up to date nearly as much as I would like so I don’t know what active story arcs are happing but feel free to message me!

Welp, that was some of the most grueling 3 months of my life. Sorry I fell off the face of the galaxy for a bit, I was FAR into the outer rim looking for something and I found it! On a small planet called Yavin VI, a jungle planet with some absolutely stunning architecture! Now I don’t think I can show the entirety of the codex I was searching for but the main temple is a sight to behold

In other news if anyone needs me, I’m gonna be asleep for the next week while I recover physically and mentally from all THAT

Ooc: future

I hope to get back into this more as my own schoolwork calms down. Del is short for Delphi, and I always hoped to make him some type of prophet character post rots, and considering his character leaves frequently for either aid missions or to track down some rare artifact for the Jedi archives, I think it’s realistic he was off grid during the purges. I love this character so much and I really want to get back into his role more

Apparently some of Yall are under the impression that Jedi don’t have hobbies??? Like what?? Catch me doing crochet in the room of a thousand fountains. I am actively planning a murder mystery module for my ttrpg group. We have hobbies????

Ok anyone want to hear about the history of lightsabers? I am desperate to info dump because we just found a new Firstblade and this thing is WILDLY cool

Recently someone asked me what was the most unexpected thing in the Jedi Archives. The answer is we have thousands and thousands of pages of research notes and records from all psychological or anthropological research, surveys, and interviews. Most of these are not from Jedi researchers. The reason?

When researchers are interacting with participants, one of the AAA Code of Ethics dictates that you “must protect and preserve records of research and raw data”. Since the Jedi Archives are the most protected and preserved archives in the galaxy, a lot of researchers ask us to hold on to their data for safekeeping. It is also in a wing that only allows researchers and archivists into, as to protect the possible personal information inside. I think that how scientific fields interact is so interesting!

One of these days I need a psychologist to study the very different social structure of the Jedi because every time I leave the temple for a mission I get a moment of culture shock. Everyone in the Jedi temple is connected in some way or another and for lack of a better term, it’s almost like an extended family. I need someone to tell me what the Force is going on here
