This is dogshit and took me like 2.7 minutes but I haven’t drawn on my drawing tablet in ages so the fact I got the motivation to make this is remarkable and I demand praise

new passion unlocked: minecraft map art

amy was done by myself looking at a sprite sheet and a chart of map colors. each pixel is 4x4 blocks

the other two were built by following along a guide generated by a website called MapartCraft, which looks like this

Some more super rough sketches and one higher effort one. On top of working on this style and teaching myself to accept this low level of detail, I just wanted to create something even if I was too anxious or tired to do more than this!

I tried drawing yesterday here we have

1. Training myself to allow simplicity and imperfection so my storyboard/animatic project ideas can one day exist without me crashing out over the time-consuming process of making every frame perfect

2. Accidentally rediscovered prioritizing pose shapes with simple lines and figures (I tried to figure out the pose by quickly making lines to outline where the chest and legs are) that excited me so much I immediately went back to my hash mark baseline

3. Finally designing my fursona but I have literally never looked at nor practiced cat anatomy

Two weeks ago my need for drawings hit its limit and I salvaged the energy for these two things

The one on the right is me but I haven’t gotten a haircut in so long I had to get a redesign

Iirc the left is a sona of a different species but I really don’t like how it turned out. You can tell I forced myself to get the motivation to spit it out lmao

Rough concept example sketch for an aspect, a creature that’s the spirit of a star in physical form. I’ve drawn them before, but I’ve since redesigned them to be a bit more interesting (mostly making them moths lol). This one’s a main sequence yellow star

I also made hasty recolors as examples of neutron stars and black holes
