A society that tolerates prostitution is an inhumane society. Not only are the direct victims (those who are trafficked and brought) harmed but women and children as a whole. As long as one dominant group (men) can buy the body of another, women will all be the “purchaseable sex”.
The rape and brutalization of any women—including white women—in any country is not a "response" to colonialism, oppression, slavery, poverty, war, murder, and starvation.
It is done out of hatred of women and the pleasure of female pain, degradation, and humiliation. It is attempted to be justified through cultural relativism, through religion, by blaming women for male violence, blaming women for the actions of male systems of governence, blaming women for being in the wrong place at the wrong time—or around the wrong men. In times of war, the rape and brutalization of women demonstrates male behavior in the absence of rules and law.
It is depraved, shameful, disgusting, and absolutely unforgiveable. It does not matter which men are doing it to which women in what place. Rape is never justifiable.
As a Jewish woman, would I shame Jewish men for raping the wives of Nazi men? Yes I would. Would I shame black male slaves for raping white women? Yes I would. And I would shame white men for raping black women, Nazi men for raping Jewish women. And I would shame male Israel soldiers for raping Palestinian women and Palestinian males for raping Israel women.
The rape and brutalization of any women is not an act of liberation, resistance, decolonization, or freedom from oppression.
If your measure of the depravity, immorality, and disgust for rape hinges on what men are doing it and what women they are doing it to, you are a rape apologist. That is sexually predatory thinking, that is male supremacist thinking, and that is disturbing behavior. It is wrong to rape.

The majority of prostituted women want to exit
Poor women and girls of color are disproportionately funneled into the sex industry
The industry relies on there being a vulnerable and uncared for class of women and girls to sexually exploit
Racism, classism, imperialism, slavery, and colonialism are all embedded in or connected to prostitution
Prostitution is a cause and result of inequality between the sexes
The sex industry is proven to rely heavily on trafficking and exploitation
It promotes violence against women
It is violence against women
Prostitution is inherently violent
The sex industry encourages, promotes, and caters to male sexual entitlement
Under full decriminalization and legalization, prostituted women are still murdered, raped, assaulted, and stolen from by pimps and johns
Women who have escaped from prostitution have high rates of PTSD and other disorders
The industry promotes fetishization, stereotypes, and sexualized racism and racialized sexism against women of color
“Consensual sex work” and human trafficking are inescapably linked (Oof)
The liberation of women and an industry dedicated to the objectification of women cannot coexist
It reduces women to sexual objects and masturbatory aids
The sex industry preys on the most marginalized women and girls
Porn culture harms women and girls (yes, even “feminist” porn)
The normalization of sex as “work” degrades the status of women as a class
These are a few reasons for the abolitionist stance I came up with at the top of my head. The only reason to be pro-porn and pro-prostitution is if one believes that the orgasms of johns, profits of pimps, and pleasure of a few “happy hookers” is worth more than the safety, freedom, and humanity of every other woman and girl.

what's a radfem?
Radical feminism is a perspective within feminism that calls for a radical reordering of society in which male supremacy is eliminated in all social and economic contexts.
That means that radfems are critical of and seek to dismantle the following:
Femininity: Women in all cultures are required to perform certain harmful practices altering their appearance in order to be respected and tolerated by society.
Beauty Industry: Exploits the requirements for femininity for male profit, as most companies are owned by men.
Heterosexism: Women in all cultures are expected to be attracted to and live their lives centering men and catering to their personal needs.
Marriage: The ownership of women by individual men in their lives (father to husband); women are pressured to partner with men in order to reap social benefits they otherwise have no access to.
Prostitution: The paid rape of (mainly) women by men in order for them to escape poverty or due to trafficking; purchased consent is coercion.
Pornography: The increasingly violent filmed rape and torture of (mainly) women for (mainly) men’s pleasure, physically and mentally harmful.
Surrogacy: The commodification of pregnancy and motherhood by making the female body something to be rent and bought.
Capitalism: A system that allows for the exploitation of women’s work and the commodification of their bodies.
BDSM: Sexualized power imbalances mainly at the expanse of women (which curiously emerged at a time when western women finally gained more societal power and freedom and is oddly reflective of historical torture methods for women).
PIV sex: Is seen as the main sex act even though it’s sexually unsatisfying for the majority of women and dangerous as it can cause pregnancy.
Reproductive rights: Currently women are not granted full body autonomy, as a fetus’ life is valued higher; a method of men to control reproduction.
Religion: False attribution of the creation of life to the male sex; justifies the subjugation of women by men.
Psychoanalysis: Originated partly in order to pathologize women’s trauma and enforce their gender role.
Queer theory/postmodernism: Allows for men to undo years of progress made by feminists on the notion that women are not oppressed for their biological reality, and propagates the idea that women can opt out of their oppression and men can become part of it.
Individualism: Refusal to view men and women as classes with different interests but rather as individuals who cannot be generalized.

funny how people are shocked by the idea of female separatism and dont realize men have been male separatists for a long time. maybe not physically as in they’re actually separated from us, but in a cultural sense that men have always put other men on top. in every single aspect of their lives… men as a group are like a club of separatists since the dawn of time lmao
