I know that I'm possibly the only one who wants a "Gwyn's side of bond already snapped" story but damn we have seen no story in acotar where the female character knows first, I think it would really break the pattern. Gwyn having had no relationship whatsoever before and didn't Sarah say in an interview a while back that writing this book felt like "a first crush"? I want to see some yearning from the fmc.

The lovely angst where Gwyn cries and tries to be happy for Az, for she's happy when her mate is happy.

The delicious angst where Az finally finds out he loves Gwyn, she won't accept his love, saying his love is for the mating bond only and there's nothing more.

The sweet, sweet angst where Az gets on knees, groveling.

There’s something so poetic about Azriel having such disdain for the Autumn Court and his mate having Autumn heritage. We’ve seen he tends to hate whole groups rather than the few bad seeds within them. So I think his relationship with Gwyn will be eye opening and healing for him.

And imagine if Eris is Gwyn's father. Imagine the male Azriel spend 500 years hating and punching and choking, turn out to be the father to his very own mate. The mate he loves and adores like nothing before in his life and had prayed for his entire life.

And Gwyn, she wants Eris to be her father. She wants to spend time with him, she wants him to be there when he couldn't before. So Azriel HAS to get along with him.

I can taste the angst already. It will be Delicious.
