Non-spicy ways to show Intimacy
Intimacy isn't always just the spicy stuff! Here's a few ways to show it through your characters in a few, simple ways...
Kissing their S/O's hand, knuckles, wrist...bonus points for eye contact!
Speaking of which...eyes. Glances across the room, prolonged eye contact, staring at each other
Tending to the other's wounds/ injuries
Knowing the other's tiny habits
Reaching out to the other when in pain, trouble, ect
Whispering jokes to each other
Carefully wiping off a stain from their clothes or face
Taking care of each other when sick or hurt
Hand over the heart/ ear over the heart just to hear it beat
Pressing their thumb over the pulse point for the same thing
Tracing scars, tattoos, birth marks, freckles
Giving the other something tiny that means a lot, a picture, a shiny rock, a flower
In fantasy settings, helping the other put on/ take off armor...trusting the other to know where daggers, knives, poisons are hidden
Telling each other secrets/ thoughts they've told nobody before
Tucking back the other's hair
Putting a piece of jewelry on the other or letting them borrow clothes
Keeping each other warm in the cold
In cases with chronic illness, letting the other care for/ know symptoms
Brushing, braiding hair, applying skincare, etc.
Nightmare comfort
Wiping away tears
Proximity- sitting near each other, sticking close, standing beside each other while doing a task such as cooking, laundry, painting...
Sharing a book, sitting close enough to read it together

Do you think SJM didn’t allow Gwynriel questions, or is Alex Cooper not aware of the ship / just team E/riel? I have my thoughts but curious what the general consensus is.
People thought I was so far off in thinking Nesta’s books aren’t done yet, but I think the Call Her Daddy podcast just made that theory even more plausible.
Nesta’s story isn’t done yet. That was so clear to me at the end of the book—even before SJM went on to confirm as much countless times, most recently on CHD.
I think more than likely the next books (A6,A7) will continue to have Nesta’s POV as the main one, along with another pairings POV. I believe it’ll be Gywn & Azriel, with some E/ain drama between them, so they won’t officially be together until A7. That is when we’ll get Gwyn & Azriel as the main POVs, with a sprinkle of Lucien & Elain’s POV toward the end of the book. This will ultimately set them up to be the main POVs in A8, with Jurian and Vassa getting some POV time as well. Unless she decides to give them an entire novella, which I could see happening.

I wish SJM engaged with her fandom more often. There I said it.
Because it doesn’t seem like SJM is uncomfortable posting on social media since she does, she just doesn’t often. So it seems more like she’s just not on social media a lot. So my thought is that she could have someone run her socials or Bloomsbury could just share updates on her behalf, which I think is an option and they simply think it’s a good business tactic not to. I think they even advise her not to since she’s been open to sharing things before but will often then say things like “I would answer but can’t because of my publisher”. Which I think is really sad. Because it used to be so fun when she shared more and it seemed like she really enjoyed doing so. Of course that could’ve changed and maybe she doesn’t anymore, but if not, this is a fandom that you could spoil major plots of the book and people would still read whatever SJM puts out. So I think a nice thing to do for such loyal fans is to keep us in the loop.

A Gwynriel headcanon/theory I have is that one night, instead of their usual training session, Gwyn will ask Azriel to take her into Velaris because she wants to get back to living life outside of the library. She has specific places she’s been wanting to visit. He will gladly take her everywhere she asks to go. And at first, he’ll leave with a promise to return to pick her up but eventually he’ll offer to show her one of his favorite places in the city and they’ll find themselves just talking the entire night, enjoying each other’s company. The next place she asks to visit, he’ll take her and just as he’s about to leave, she’ll invite him to stay with her and he does. Before they know it, it’ll end up becoming a routine for them without them ever intending for it to.
