An idea I had for Blood of Eden propaganda/recruitment posters featuring some of our favorite guys - combo of digital-print cyberpunk graphic design style with oldschool Saturday Morning Post covers like you'd see Leyendecker paintings on

I was gonna post these ahead of tabling at a small con and selling prints of them but ended up not tabling because turns out grad school is hard

Something I love about the romance in The Locked Tomb is how Gideon as our first POV narrator is like "this is Harrowhark Nonagesimus, she thrives on scorn and ambition and death" and as a seasoned enemies-to-lovers fan, my first reaction was "I love it, I support women's rights and wrongs, and I can't wait to see this cold evil character discover feelings eventually" but then the plot twist is actually that Harrow is a pathetic desperate emo who barely needs an excuse to say the most romantic shit imaginable. Which is already a good payoff and the characterization is superb, but then you see inside Harrow's head in the next book and discover that despite her trauma and 35 mental illnesses, she is so much of a fucking soft marshmallow simp that not even her DIY lobotomy can keep her from indulging in a coffeeshop AU (?!?!) to soothe her yearning soul. Which makes rereading GtN delightful because now you can read between the lines and realise like "oh wow, she was down bad the whole time and Gideon just didn't notice". It gives so much lesbian Pride and Prejudice that you can only fully appreciate during a reread. I adore it.

⭐OPENING COMMISSIONS FOR THE LOCKED TOMB AGAIN⭐ Hey everyone, I'm opening up TLT comms again! Since I am in a college that has students take monday to saturday classes at 8 hours almost everyday, I'm unfortunately still drowning in school fees alongside my physical health declining 🫠

I would like to open up commissions again for anyone that would be interested, the prices would still be relatively the same, I'm adding also adding a price increase from before as I didn't realize the conversion rate would be a lot. I like to imagine their apartment wall has a mixture of the bands Harrow listens to and Gideon's posters of Frontline Titties of the Fifth and other issues ;) I also think they'd have polaroids or photos of them with their friends especially Gideon with the Fourth and Fifth House. Couldn't figure out how I'd fit them though so that's gonna come up sometime in the future :D Still haven't figured out what subjects I want the lyctors to teach yet but Jod is most likely gonna be the dean and Wake's gonna be their rugby coach.
