Back in 2021, I was inspired by the work of one of my favourite artists, AuroraLion. And for my first piece on the tablet, I wanted to draw something based on the same idea, but make Starscream more in the Prime style

Getting back to the topic of drawing backgrounds with characters and the results of the vote, the winner was, of course, our favourite hunk, Knockout😏 After him, I’d like to draw Megatron as well, but we’ll see how it goes. I’ve got a few ideas, but I’m not sure when I’ll get round to it...
I’m not drawing anything new at the moment, so I’ll keep you entertained with some of my older work)

He is about 43 cm tall (1.41 feet or 2.418 bananas), from his feet to his wing tips, depending on his wing position. This model is very much inspired and made to go with @solid-helium 's Soundwave, so I scaled Starscream based on him. He is movable at his ankles, knees, hips, torso, neck, shoulders, elbows and wrists. This is achieved via Lego hinges (credit for this idea goes to Solidhelium as well). There are 5 different, interchangeable hand models, held in place with magnets. His wing position is movable in the sense, that you can choose how far up or down tilted they are. There are two head models, which can be exchanged. One with a smug smile, the other with terrified puppy eyes.(if that doesn't sum up Starscreams entire existence lmao). He can stand surprisingly well. He cannot transform!!
OMG hes finally done. This was a crazy little project and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I had a lot of fun and learned lots of new things about Blender. If you decide to make this for yourself, I would love to see the results. Pls pls pls tag me on tumblr. Special thanks go to:

The other day I decided to draw someone else, and Soundwave was the first one I fancied doing (fun fact: he was the first TFP character I ever drew))
I managed to capture a really great moment; I traced it from a screenshot so I wouldn’t have to worry too much about it, and then I had the idea of making a desktop wallpaper featuring Soundwave.
It passed the test on my computer, looks brilliant, I’m happy with it 🥰

I'll say it straight away: I'm a lazy bum who created almost all of this art using AI. I only drew the background myself, and even that was just a visual reference for the AI to work from.
I used my own Stable Diffusion for the background, then Nanobanana. I added Starscream and Angel using Nanobanana as well.
Of course, it didn’t turn out perfectly either (I forgot to specify in the prompt that Angel should be a bit lower and that they should both have scratches, but as I’m too lazy, I don’t want to fix anything, so you’re on your own)

When choosing the colour scheme, I was inspired by the colours of the sunset. Yes, it looks a bit garish and overly colourful on Angel, but this is my favourite combination—it’s this very gradient from blue to orange-yellow😍—so it’s the only thing that’s stayed the same.

So, I’ll let you in on a little secret))))
I created a 3D model of Angel as my final project for my graphic design course (killing two birds with one stone). I modelled it in Blender and rendered it in 3ds Max. It was an interesting experience, as I’d never modelled characters from Prime before (I’d never modelled any characters at all, actually😅), and I literally spent two months glued to my computer, fuelled by pure adrenaline. Having a well-thought-out sketch saved the day.
I never got round to the animation; I dropped the whole thing as soon as I handed in my dissertation. And the way I modelled her, it would be almost impossible to animate Angel (she’s too ‘heavy’), so I plan to rework and simplify her, then rig her (she’s just a stick figure at the moment), and only then will I try to create some art with her.
I hope to get back into 3D this year. My fingers are itching to get started, but I can’t remember a thing😭. I’ll have to learn everything from scratch; after all, it’s been two years since I finished the course...
In October 2021, another redesign attempt was made—purely cosmetic. Essentially, this was the first concept; I even jotted down a few notes about it (you don’t need to read them—it’s rubbish).
And about a year after the first concept sketch, I decided to rework it again and created the final version, which you saw in my final concept. I worked on the design in parts, then put it all together on the tablet and sketched out the colour palette.
Actually, I made the sketch with the intention of one day creating Ironangel in 3D. And... I did it😁
And based on the sketch (see my previous post), I drew my first art with Ironangel.
Looking back now, I can see how much my rendering has improved since then, but my love of excessive detail hasn’t gone anywhere 🤣
Now I’ll tell you how Angel came into this world (was born, haha))) and how her design has evolved.
First, about the design
This story begins in February 2020.
Angel’s first proper drawing was with Starscream. I was already mad about that nasty narcissist back then, and I started drawing him constantly in my sketchbook, and I needed my own original character.
Before that, I’d just jotted down rough sketches on paper and made doodles on school draft paper. And it looked… well, not great. But it’ll do for a first attempt🤣
Afterwards, I tweaked her wings a bit and redrew her in my sketchbook, and from then on I drew her like that.
It wasn’t until 2021 that I was given a tablet and it hit me to develop a full-fledged design from all angles and create a detailed drawing. It turned out to be rubbish too, the proportions were completely off, but at the time it seemed like a mega-cool piece of work to me

I wanted to finish the second concept with her altmode first (it wouldn't have fit everything in one) and then post it, but I couldn't resist – I just want to share how it turned out. I’m a bit tired, but I’m happy with the result🥰

The first one turned out more like the reference with Soundwave from the last post, and I tried to replicate the drawing style. But the second version was sketched from a screenshot I found and decorated more in my own style.

I recently came across some brilliant art of Soundwave here, and the first thing that popped into my head was: I NEED THESE SAME THIGHS FOR STARSCREAM!!! WHY AREN'T THEY AVAILABLE?! AAAAAAA
