We've known each other since Dec last year. Been official since Feb 14. And I just gotta say,so far so good. Still in our honeymoon phase but I truly understand that no relationship is perfect (adding all of my insecurities and my issues) so I am truly thankful that you are willing to make this work with me.

You've asked me before why I chose to date you. And I replied,why not. Coz why not indeed. You came when I was praying and pleading to God. You are God fearing and also has a humor to boot. You make me laugh so so much.Your smile is so contagious that you make me laugh even when Im so pissed at you. You love your cats. You love music maybe more than I do. You make me feel special. And I really really do like you. I hope I make you feel the same way you do to me.

something timeless

One of my favorite pianist right now is Valentina Lisitsa. Her techniques and the way she plays is really good. But when it comes to my favorite piece,La Campanella, nothing beats Rubinstein I swear. It feels like the notes are just popping out. You can hear it veery distinctly that it tickles your ears. It's just sooo smooth! And intense. And very energizing. The reason I mentioned Lisitsa is because her interpretation is my second favorite. The tempo is just a bit fast. But still the distinct notes is still there.

And these are all thanks to Paganini! Thank you for giving us the Caprice no. 24 and La Campanella (and many more).

Oh My General

So I just finished watching the series. It was good. Not very surprised. I really liked the female lead so Im also pretty biased. Hahahah. But really,if you wanted a unique story line and a very strong female lead,I highly recommend this.

I do wanted to read the novel first but no english translation available yet so I decided to watch the series now since it was already completed. No regrets.

Down the dumps

This has been the worst month I've ever had. I can't wait for this month to be over. The first time that I really wanna go back home. The first time that I wouldn't mind going back without anything just to leave this place.

First few days was worst. I couldn't help but cry my guts out for the first time in a while. And just not talk to anybody. I don't wanna face another day. But I realized wether you are ready or not,the next day will come. So I streghtened my resolve and just powered through as the days go by.

I'm feeling a bit better now. After finally talking with friends,eating and making chika with them. Being with my mom and going on retail therapy with her. The barista being pleasant was helpful too for cheering me up. And the advice given by a very close friend that this is all part of the work. This is all part of growing up. This too shall pass and it'll make me even stronger. It made me realize that I was still immature. So I'm still trying to work on it and learn from this.

This experience also makes me more appreciative with the friends I keep here. I knew I chose the right ones. My ride or die. My support system. I don't know where I'll be without you guys.

And to my mom too. I know I don't say much but I know you know I'm going through something. And you try to push me to go out and cheer me up. Love you mom.

This has been the eclipse of my life. Where everything is suddenly almost dark. Almost. Because thankfully I can still borrow light from the sun and other stars.

So after this lunar eclipse,I hope it would take with it all the negative energy,bad luck and bad vibes around me. I consider myself a moon child. I hoping,beseeching,the universe would finally give me some slack. I think I've already had enough for a month. Pls. God. 🙏

My Ideal

My ideal guy is someone who's very interested in me. Who's curious about every thing I do and think. Who I can talk to about everything under the sun. Someone I can tell my dreams, daydreams and even nightmares. Of what I feel during that day. Or what I have read. And my reviews and critiques. Someone I want and can confide in. Someone who may not fully understand me, but tries to anyway. Someone whom I can fully be open and bare my whole soul and being to.

Kafka on the Shore

This one is a surprise. Didn't expect it to be that good and very much engrossing. It really did take me to its world. It's like having a world on its own. Feels like being in wonderland after falling down the rabbit hole. With a bit of suspense, horror, romance and greek mythology. It's fantastic. It's weirdly incredible. This is a book that I'll never forget in a while. Definitely highly recommended. Murakami, you've got me hooked. Ore-sama approves.

A post I never imagined I would make. Salem, my wonderful cat, just died earlier this morning (KSA time). At first, I was pretty apathetic about the whole thing thinking, just robotically going all through the process like ordering them in the Ph to bury him at the vacant backyard etc... But now that I think about it, I denied that my cat died all throughout the day and when I got gome from work and really think about it... looking at his pictures, it really sunk in and i just started crying. I never will receive pictures and videos of him again. I'd like to think we did the best that we can,gave everything Ive got to save him but sadly, his time is really up. I love you baby. I hope you didn't suffer much. I hope u know how much I, we, love you. Hope ur having a blast now in animal heaven. Im grieving but Im relieved thinking that ur not having a hard time anymore. Love you forever, my main.

double-edged sword

Dreaming of you is always a double edged sword. I got to see you and hug you again and I know great things will happen. That's for sure. But at the same time, it also always leave me in tears and in pain. But I will gladly take that, just for a monent with you again. I think this is a way of you looking after me from heaven. You're always in my heart and I miss you everyday.

TKD promotion

I am proud to say that I finally got promoted from being a no color belt(white) to yellow belt. Yaaay. This is something very unexpected of me. I don't also believe it myself because I was not the least bit interested at it, at first. But beacuse a friend of mine very much like to do it, she convinced me to try it with her. Just try to attend one of their trainings. Which my mon failed to do after pestering me with it for a yr. 😂 So after that 1 training, I loved it! Tried attending every friday trainings as often as I can. And so I became a member of Flying Tigers. 🐅👌✨And that friend, she didn't continue ironically. 😑 But even without her, I go to my trainings. I even prioritize it over trips and OT duties. That's how I'm into it right now. Hopefully I can enter poomsae competition in the near future. 😊

Till Death Do Us Part by Tangstory

Never expected that I will love this. I'm more of a period era or modern era kind of reader. But this story's setting is on the 1950ish that made me reluctant to read it at first. And Im glad I did. I recommend this to all fujoshis. A lot of steamy scenes goin on around here. It also has drama but I love how this doesn't have the cliched angst . I love that it is also realistic and it has depth. And the growth of their love for each other. It is really romantic. If you love BL and chinese novels,this is for you. Ore-sama aproves.

It's been a while tumblr. Just wanted to post my thoughts and nostalgia that I really didn't want to post on my other social sites and I remember that I did have a pseudo blog in tumblr. So here it is!

It has been 3 yrs since this photo was taken. I remembered going straight to trainings and ret dems after my night shifts. The commute is srsly no joke. If u live in the Ph, u would understand. My health was greatly compromised but thank God, I passed it all and got my AHA certs. Just remembering my hardships then... Im just grateful to everything that happened.
