previously areyousiriuspadfoot. like an idiot, i accidentally deleted my old account. trying to practice some more writing. marauders era and grishaverse enthusiast. claire, she/her.
As it’s stated in my bio, my previous blog /areyousiriuspadfoot. Like an idiot, I accidentally deleted the blog and the url was already taken when I wanted to take it back. Anyways, I’m in a weird space of mind, but I’ve been thinking of re-uploading my drabbles with some heavy editing because most of them make me cringe lmao.
I don’t know how active this fandom is anymore and I don’t know how often will I write or re-upload my drabbles, but I’ll try my best. Feel free to send requests, but I don’t know when I will get to them.
A few things:
This will not be an exclusive blackinnon/Harry Potter blog. I’ll probably reblog other fandoms stuff as well.
As for Harry Potter, my favorite ship is Blackinnon, but I am open to write about other ships as well. I do love me some Jily, Rodolphus/Narcissa, Alecto Carrow+almost anyone, etc.
This will be a highly unpopular comment, but I do not ship wolfstar nor dorcas/marlene. I may be a bit old school, but I just see them as best friends.
I will not write smut and I will remove it from my drabbles. I’ll just fade to black.
You can call me claire (she/her).
Be nice, don’t send anon hate. I promise y’all I’m friendly.
Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that I finally opened an AO3 account and I’ll be posting my work there. Currently I’m re-uploading a fic I posted back in the day in fanfiction.net asdjasjdhaskj. It’s a muggle WWII AU. Anyways, if you want to check it out, here’s the link.
Am I your dream girl?
You think of me in bed
But you could never hold me
You like me better in your head
Make me evil, then I’m an angel instead
At least you’ll sanctify me when I’m dead
I can feel the flames on my skin
Crimson red paint on my lips
If a man talks shit, then I owe him nothing
I don’t regret it one bit, ‘cause he had it coming
The one Marlene cheated on her husband with Sirius || muggle au
“When are you returning home, mummy?” a little girl asked to Marlene from the other side of the phone.
Marlene rested her back against the wall of the long corridor of the hotel and smiled slightly. “Tomorrow, love. I had the conference today and tomorrow I have one more panel and I’ll take the first train back home” she promised. “How is the cat behaving?” she asked kindly.
“Fine… she slept with me last night” the girl giggled and Marlene’s heart melted instantly. “Daddy said that I shouldn’t sleep with her though”, Connie whispered so her father wouldn’t hear her.
Marlene couldn’t help to laugh and shook her head in disbelief. “You should be listening to your father, love” she told her but in all honesty, Marlene didn’t mind if Constance slept with the cat or not.
“But we cuddle” Connie whined and Marlene grinned.
“Okay, you can sleep with her… I won’t say anything”, she promised with her lips curved into a broad smile.
“Daddy wants to talk to you” the girl mumbled.
Marlene’s happiness vanished and automatically, she bit her lower lip. “Yeah, sure, give him the phone… I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”
“Okay” Connie replied.
“I love you” Marlene mumbled but her husband was already on the other side of the phone.
“She loves you too” Gideon said. “How are you?” he asked after a long pause.
“I’m fine”, she said simply and then added, “you?”
It was only then when she heard some footsteps approaching her. Marlene already knew who it was; bloody hell, she would recognize him anywhere. She looked down, slightly ashamed and kept on talking to her husband who was ranting about his day.
“Oh, that’s terrible” she mumbled completely uninterested. The footsteps stopped and Marlene saw his shoes by the corner of her eyes. He was next to her, resting his back against the wall as well.
Gideon kept on ranting but Marlene’s mind was on the man next to her. Her heart was already beating wildly with anticipation, like it always did.
“So, you are coming tomorrow?” Marlene’s husband asked suddenly.
“Yes…” she mumbled and felt a pair of fingers playing with hers. “Tomorrow” she added quietly.
There was a long pause between them. Both husband and wife knew what was going on. Gideon wasn’t stupid and things between them weren’t exactly lovely. “He’s there with you, isn’t he?” he asked tiredly.
Her heart stopped abruptly. “Gideon…” she sighed.
“He is, isn’t he?” Gideon insisted. He wasn’t even angry, he was just… disappointed.
Marlene felt guilty and now, all that she wanted to do was to cry. She removed her fingers from her current lover rather harshly and turned her back on him. “Please, stop it” she whispered.
“You are not even denying it” he sighed.
She felt her eyes filling with tears and her heart feeling ten times heavier. It had never been her intention to cause him any pain. “Please” Marlene mumbled, her lower lip trembling.
“See you tomorrow” Gideon said dryly and hanged up.
Marlene closed her eyes and started crying silently. She put away her phone and covered her mouth with her hand and repressed a sob. It was then when she felt a hand on her shoulder, his hand. She hated herself because it shouldn’t feel as nice as it did; Marlene shouldn’t be having an affair with him. She was married and she had a daughter. Yet, it’s been almost a year now and the mere idea of not being with Sirius hurt as much as it did the conversation with Gideon.
“Mar… please, don’t cry” he said softly and squeezed her shoulder.
She shoved his hand off. “No, leave me alone” she sniffed and started looking for her room keys inside her purse.
He sighed tiredly. “Mar…”
“No! Don’t ‘Mar’ me, Sirius!” Marlene snapped as the tears fell down from her eyes. “You don’t get it… please; just leave me alone, okay?”
Sirius raised both hands and took a step back, he knew better than to push her. “You know where to find me” he muttered as he saw Marlene opening the door of her bedroom and closing it in front of his eyes.
The second the door was closed, Marlene broke down entirely and walked blindly to her bed. Why did everything have to be so bloody difficult? Not only she had hurt Gideon but she was sure she had hurt Sirius as well.
Her affair with Sirius started not even a year ago but she had fallen so deep for him. Things between her and Gideon weren’t at their best point and he appeared out of nowhere and filled her life with excitement. It started as a casual hook up and then things got out of hands and now it was just too intense.
After giving birth to Connie, the relationship between Marlene and Gideon wasn’t the same. He spent too much time at work and she taking care of their daughter. Then, she began working again and he didn’t like it but didn’t complain because he knew that Marlene was not going to take any of his shit about it.
It was not that she didn’t love him, because she did, a lot. Gideon was her husband and the father of her little girl, of the person that matter the most. However, she also loved Sirius. There was something about him. Maybe it was the way that he treated her, or the fact that he was always saying nice things about her that made Marlene feel good with herself, especially after giving birth to Connie.
Sirius was always saying how gorgeous and hot she was, how he liked everything about her, how smart she was and always laughed at her jokes, even when they weren’t funny. He was always so thoughtful. Sirius sent her flowers every week and took her to nice places for dinner… not to mention how good he was in bed and how desired he made her feel. Yet… he wasn’t her husband nor the father of Constance.
The image of Marlene crying because of this situation wasn’t new. She always felt bad about it because she was hurting both Gideon and Sirius. She had to make a choice, a choice that she didn’t want to make because someone was going to get hurt.
However, deep down, Marlene knew that there wasn’t any choice at all because she knew what her heart wanted. Even though she loved Gideon, she wasn’t in love with him anymore and she was pretty sure that Gideon wasn’t in love with her either; otherwise he would have fought for her. That was why she ended up with Sirius, because she was looking for someone who would, and Sirius fought for her constantly. He had taken her being married and having a kid. He never complained when she cancelled their plans, yet he made sure to call her every single day to check on her and to tell her how much he missed her. Sirius was always there to comfort her whenever she had those breakdowns and he had always been nothing but supportive.
Marlene remained on her bed and she cried until there were no more tears left and changed into her pajamas. She wasn’t sure how long she had been there crying but now that she was done, she felt completely alone and miserable. Without thinking too much about it, she grabbed her room keys and went to the only place she wanted to be.
She knocked his door and waited patiently until he opened it. Dear God, how did he manage to be so handsome?
Sirius looked at her and pursed his lips. Marlene’s eyes were bright red and puffy. She had been crying and that broke his heart. He was aware of the internal struggle that she was going through and sometimes Sirius couldn’t help to blame himself. She was suffering because of him.
“Can I come in?” she asked quietly.
He smiled slightly and nodded. “Of course you can.”
Marlene stepped into his room and went straight to his bed. As soon as he got in, she snuggled closer to him and rested her cheek on his chest. Sirius started stroking her hair kindly and she couldn’t help to close her eyes and sighed tiredly.
“I love you” she said quietly.
He smiled. “I know… and I love you too” he replied softly.
Marlene’s lips curved into a small sad smile. That was all she needed to hear.
The library was, not so surprisingly, one of Rodolphus’ favorite places in the Castle. He was a young man who liked to study and who liked to excel at everything that he did. One could say that he was everything that a fine pureblood Heir should be. His mother liked to say that she raised him well, but the woman didn’t know the first thing about her eldest son.
Unlike his younger brother, Rabastan, who was an open book, Rodolphus was extremely reserved. He didn’t like people prying into his life or even really knowing about him, just what he felt they needed to know. Rodolphus was a clever young man whose best weapon were his own words, he was a snake charmer. There was a reason why Professors loved him: not just because of his good grades or his fantastic performance as the Quidditch Captain, but because he paid attention. The devil was on the details and the eldest Lestrange knew that. That’s how he knew Professor Slughorn liked those disgusting pineapple candies or that Mrs. Clearwater liked daisies.
He scratched out a word of his thoroughly detailed essay he had to do for Arithmancy and replaced with a more eloquent word. He dipped the end of his elegant quill on the ink and finished the paragraph. He re-read it again, made a few corrections and after reading it again three times (yes, he was a bit obsessive when it came to homework), he decided it was okay. Probably would give it another quick read before going to bed. Eventually, his eyes rose from the parchment and saw her. He would recognize that hair anywhere. Narcissa Black was, without questioning, the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on.
Now, while Rodolphus was very aware that beauty did not mean much, she was the most complete woman he had ever met. Yes, he was betrothed to her eldest sister, Bellatrix, but that wasn’t what he desired. He wanted her, he wanted the petite blonde. Narcissa – or Cissy like he liked to call her – was the perfect match for a man like him. Unlike her sister, Narcissa was reserved yet graceful and charming. She was smart yet not arrogant. She was definitely not a sadist (not that Rodolphus was uncomfortable with that, he liked to brew poisons in his free time) and was not loud.
Don’t get him wrong, he thought Bellatrix was okay, he even liked her enough, she was a tough woman and he respected her. But the two of them were the exact opposites. He was the brain while Bella was the heart and the bloody hand. Rodolphus liked to work from the shadows and Bella loved being the center of attention. It could work on his favor once they took the Dark Mark, he was callous enough to let his future wife go down for her own stupidity.
Narcissa, on the other hand, was a different kind of smart. She was quiet and reserved, probably wasn’t as violent as him but he liked that about her. She would never get in unnecessary trouble like Bella would. She was more rational and Rodolphus always preferred the company of rational people.
He caught a glimpse of her black velvet ribbon before she disappeared among the bookshelves. He wasted no time and stood up. He left his things there on his table, he already casted a spell in case anyone tried to steal anything from him. It wouldn’t be the first time, though, only now the idiot would get a severe burn. Rod ran a hand over his hair to make it more presentable and followed the younger witch, dodging a few flying books as he walked in a not so hurried pace.
“You know, sneaking up on someone isn’t polite, Cissy”, he hummed softly, his lips curved into an amused smirk as he turned around and fount the pretty blonde, mirroring his smirk.
“Oops… my bad”, she grinned as she looked up at him. The height difference was funny, cute she might even say. “I’ve missed you this week”, she pouted slightly as she took a step towards him and took his hand, lacing their fingers together. Yes, he was her sister’s fiancée, but is not like Bella cared about him, at least not as much as she did. Narcissa knew their fate wasn’t to be together, not at least how they wanted to, but she was determined to make the best out of this, even if it was just for a short amount of time.
“I’m sorry” he said and he actually meant it, which wasn’t a first but it wasn’t a common thing to hear coming out of his mouth. “I had Prefect Duties and Quidditch, not to mention plenty of homework” he explained, gently pulling from her hand so her body would be closer to his. “Have I mentioned you look beautiful today?” He asked, flashing his most charming smile, making the youngest Black blush profusely.
“Oh, hush now” she giggled and looked up at him. Rodolphus expected what she did next and smiled as he saw her getting on her toes to press her lips against his.
His large hand cupped her cheek and he quickly took the lead, kissing her deeply but slowly. There was no rush; neither Bellatrix nor Lucius were fond of the library anyways. In fact, Rodolphus seriously doubted Lucius even knew how to read in the first place, but that was a different story. Eventually he pulled away and pressed a kiss on her forehead. “Let’s do something tonight, what do you say?” He suggested, brushing his thumb over her cheek.
Her pretty eyes lit up instantly and his lips curved into a half smile. “Okay…” she nodded excitedly. “What are we going to do?” She asked curiously before stealing a quick kiss from him.
“Ah… that’s a surprise, I can’t tell you” he grinned as she kissed him. “I’m pretty sure you are going to enjoy it” he said confidently as Narcissa stole another kiss from him and then another and another until they were making out again.
It was only when they heard footsteps that they pulled away from each other completely. Rodolphus turned around and pretended to be looking for a book while Narcissa did the same. The third year Ravenclaw walked past them completely unaware of what had happened a few moments ago.
“I’ll see you tonight okay? Be at the common room at eleven” Rod said once the boy was out of sight. The eldest Lestrange leaned over and pressed a lingering kiss on her cheek. With that, he turned around again and walked back to his table, already planning their encounter they had ahead.
The buzzer rang and Marlene hurried to pick it up. “Who is it?” she asked even though she already knew who it was.
“Sirius, where you expecting someone else?”, he asked teasingly.
“Maybe”, she joked playfully and added, “I’ll be right down”.
Marlene opened the door of her balcony, just the fair amount to let Hazel in or out if she wanted to and then applied some perfume to her skin. She petted her dog briefly and headed out, excited to see Sirius again. They were having a double date with his friend Remus and his girlfriend, Dorcas.
Sirius grinned widely as she appeared; his heart was already beating fast with enthusiasm to see her. “Hi love”, he smiled and kissed her. They have been seeing each other quite often now, and even though they didn’t have a title, they certainly acted like a couple. Sirius wrapped an arm around her shoulders and started walking. “The restaurant is not far from here”, he said and kissed her temple.
“Hey” she smiled and her cheeks turned pink when he called her ‘love’, it was too good to be true. One of her arms wrapped around his waist and she pressed herself to him. “Okay” she nodded her head slowly. “How’s Harry?” She asked as they walked through the cold streets of London.
He couldn’t help to smile when she asked about his godson. “Oh, he’s fine; my cousin Andy is taking care of him. He’ll be staying at her house tonight, so you are very welcome to stay for the night at my place”, he offered casually but with his heart pounding furiously against his ribs. They had never spent the entire night together; usually he went to her place and then left because of Harry.
Marlene grabbed his face while they walked and kissed him briefly but passionately. “I would love that”, she smiled honestly.
Sirius grinned happily. God, she had him on the palm of her hand. He pulled her closer and entered to the restaurant, where Remus and Dorcas were already waiting for them with a bottle of red wine on the center of the table.
The other couple stood up and greeted them. They ordered dinner and started chatting. Dorcas seemed like a really nice girl, she was a sociologist and Remus a literature professor. They found out the he and Marlene taught on the same university but never ran into each other.
“So you’re a therapist, right?” Dorcas asked politely. “What type of therapy you do?”
“Oh, yes… I do Freudian therapy; old Sigmund is my idol” she laughed.
“You are the first person I met that uses that method, its interesting” Dorcas commented. “I’m not an expert but Freud had really good points about certain things”.
“Absolutely, I’m actually working on a paper to present on a Freudian convention in Cambridge in a couple of weeks… about the suicidal tendencies on teenagers and middle age people and how that affects them on the long shot and, if they have, on their children, it’s fascinating”, she said with enthusiasm and then bit her lip. “Sorry, I’m rambling… I’m just fascinated” Marlene mumbled and shot a quick glance at Sirius who was smiling proudly.
“Nonsense, it’s very interesting indeed… maybe after you finish with the convention we can start an investigation together, I bring the sociological material and you the psychological” Dorcas suggested.
“Oh my God, yes, I would love that so much. It has so much potential, it could be amazing!” Marlene smiled widely.
Remus and Sirius exchanged looks and then kept on listening to their conversation; realizing how whipped they were but not caring too much about it.
---
The sunlight forced him to open his eyes. Sirius rubbed his face with both hands and sighed; he turned around and found Marlene’s pretty face facing him.
She was still asleep, with one of her hands under the pillow and the other above. Her chest was going up and down, slowly but steady, and the sunlight illuminated her beautiful freckled skin. A lock of her hair was covering her face and, very carefully and trying not to wake her up, Sirius tucked it behind her ear; he wanted to see her.
He stared at her for a long time, trying to put his feelings in order; he wanted to do so many things with her: from traveling around the world to watch some random TV show on the couch. He knew that some of them were impossible but the mere idea of it made him so happy, which was strange because happiness wasn’t a feeling he experienced often.
Marlene stirred, burying her face on the pillow and stretching out lazily; she then rolled over and placed herself on top of Sirius. “Morning”, she mumbled and kissed his neck softly.
That was when it hit him; it was as if he had received a slap of reality. He blinked several times and then grabbed Marlene’s face carefully. His grey eyes studied her, she had sleepy eyes but they were shining and were bluer than ever; her lips were slightly curved and she was frowning curiously.
“What?” she asked, slightly amused.
Sirius opened his mouth to speak but then closed it only to open it again. “I love you”, he said abruptly. “I love you and I want you to move in with me, I want to wake up next to you every fucking day for the rest of my life”, this was, by far, the cheesiest thing he had ever said to anyone.
Marlene blinked with surprise; that was certainly something she wasn’t expecting to hear; nevertheless her heart couldn’t help to skip a few beats and then started beating again inhumanly fast. He had just told her he loved her… no, he had just told her that he loved her and that he wanted her to move in with him.
“Please say something” he said worriedly. Great job idiot, now you fucked it forever.
A wide smile spread on her face, showing her shinny white teeth. Words failed her so she just kissed him, pouring her heart into that kiss. Marlene wanted Sirius to know that she loved him too, just as much as he loved her. One of her hands went to his neck and stroked his cheek with her thumb. “I love you too and I would love to move in with you, even if it sounds fucking mental” she chuckled happily and deepened the kiss.
Sirius moaned as she did and turn around so he could be on top. “It’s not mental, Harry loves you and, especially, he loves Hazel and I love you and I think your dog is cool so it’s a win-win situation” he pointed out and started kissing her neck.
“Alright then, let’s do this” she chuckled happily.
----
The alarm went off and both Sirius and Marlene woke up. She stretched out lazily and rubbed her face with both hands.
“Morning”, Sirius said and leaned to kiss her on the lips and then on her seven month baby bump. “Did you ladies slept well?” he asked as his lips went to her neck, his favorite spot.
“Morning”, she smiled and stroked his hair while he kissed her bump. “Yeah, she behaved herself … I’ll prepare breakfast and wake Harry while you take a shower”
“Good... oh okay Ma’am”, he teased and kissed her once more.
Marlene rolled her eyes and then got up with difficulty, it was starting to become hard to move but she did try her best. She put on her bra and changed her pajamas to some sweatpants and some old t-shirt that used to belong to Sirius and now was hers.
After preparing breakfast, pancakes, hot chocolate and coffee, she walked to Harry’s room. The six year-old was sleeping peacefully with Hazel curled next to him. She sat next to him and started stroking his hair gently “Harry? Time to wake up, love, first day of school” she said softly as the kid stirred sleepily.
His green eyes met hers and Marlene handed him his glasses. She kissed his forehead. “Come on sweetie, I’ve made pancakes and hot chocolate” she said knowing it was his favorite. Harry smiled and stood up. The girl imitated him and walked back to the kitchen with Hazel trailing behind them.
The three of them sat and had breakfast together, like a proper family. “Mate, what do you think of the name Olivia?” Sirius asked carefully; the kid had been rejecting every single name he and Marlene suggested: Rose, Amelia, Hannah and Mia among others. He and Marlene wanted Harry to be the one who decided it in the end.
Harry frowned as he chewed his food, then took a sip of his hot chocolate and tilted his head. “Yeah, I like it, Olivia sounds nice” he shrugged and kept on eating. Marlene and Sirius exchanged smirks and kept on eating too. “Then Olivia Black it is” Sirius announced.
Marlene stood in front of her bathroom mirror and applied some lipstick. She didn’t put too much make up; she always thought that it made her look ridiculous. A tiny smirk appeared on her face and then she turned around and headed to her bedroom.
Hazel was curled up on her bed chewing some toy that her brother Nick had bought for her. The TV was on and some bizarre reality show was on; she wasn’t particularly fond of it but she didn’t feel like watching the news either. She ran her hand distractedly through her fur while heart beat with excitement. On the lower right corner of the screen was the time: 20.35. He was supposed to arrive any minute now.
The girl lay down lazily and rested her head on Hazel’s body. The dog moved her head and started to lick her face. “Hey, no!” Marlene laughed and sat down again. “Not now” she smiled with guilt, right before the doorbell rang. “He’s here” she whispered anxiously. “Do I look good?” she asked and the dog barked once.
Marlene and picked up the buzzer. “Who is it?” she asked, already knowing the answer, but she wanted to sound casual.
“It’s me, Sirius” of course he was, Marlene thought.
“I’ll be right down” she smiled and hung up. Marlene ran back to the bathroom and put on some perfume. She grabbed her jacket, purse, keys and phone. “Behave yourself” she warned Hazel and the dog barked again. Marlene grinned and headed out.
Sirius was leaning against the wall with both hands in his pockets. For the first time in his life, he was nervous. He should’ve bought flowers or something like chocolate. Women liked that, didn’t they? It seemed like an eternity until she showed up. A smirk appeared on his lips when he saw her through the glass door.
“Hello stranger” she smiled as she put her keys on her purse.
He didn’t reply, instead he grabbed her face with both hands and kissed her. It was the only thing he could think of: kissing her (and maybe some other things too, but for now he could work with a kiss). To increase his happiness, she replied eagerly and pushed him against the wall. Oh boy, she’s going to be my ruin, he thought.
Sirius pulled away when they ran out of air and smirked. “Hello, beautiful” he said and draped his arm over her shoulders and added, “come on, let’s go eat something”.
He didn’t have it in him to take her to a fancy restaurant, so he took her to his favorite pizza place. “We used to come here with Harry’s parents” he muttered distractedly as he opened the door for her. “It’s the best pizza in London”, he then added.
Marlene smiled and walked to a table next to the window. They ordered, naturally, a pizza and a pint of crafted beer for each one. “This looks nice” she said cheerfully after scanning the whole place.
Sirius nodded in agreement and took a sip of his beer. God she looked beautiful. “How’s your patient?” he asked politely.
“Fine” she sighed tiredly, but also surprised that he actually remembered. “Poor lad has to see me every single day” she laughed bitterly shaking her head.
“That doesn’t seem like a bad deal” he pointed out with a flirtatious smirk. His heart started racing when her cheeks turned pink and her lips curved into a shy smile. Yes, that was the reaction he was aiming for.
“Anyway… how’s Harry?” Marlene asked curiously; she had grown fond of the kid by now.
Sirius took another sip of his beer and then cleared his throat. “He’s fine, Remus and his girlfriend are taking care of him now… oh, and actually, he drew this for you” he added and took a folded paper from his pocket.
“Oh my gosh, that is so sweet” Marlene grinned happily and opened it with enthusiasm; as expected, it didn’t make much sense but she guessed he had drawn Hazel. “He is so cute, I’m going to hang it on the door of my fridge” she promised and looked up at Sirius who was smiling.
The waiter came with the pizza and Marlene served it. He was right; it was the best pizza in London. She ate carefully, trying not to make a fool of herself with the melted cheese.
The fact that Marlene seemed to care about Harry was something that make Sirius want her even more. Being in charge of a kid could be unappealing for some women. He also noticed that she was genuinely eating. Not a single one of the girls he had slept with before ate in front of him. Not that he care very much but it was awkward to eat breakfast and have a half naked woman staring at you.
“What?” Marlene asked curiously.
“Nothing” he shook his head quickly and took a bite of his pizza.
After paying for dinner, Sirius bought ice-cream and walked her home. Being with Marlene was so easy, she made everything seem simpler; there was not a single thing that he didn’t like of her: she was gorgeous, funny, smart and kind. They’ve only seen each other for no more than four times, and yet it felt like ages.
When they finally reach her place, none of them really knew who kissed who but that didn’t matter. He had her pressed against the wall while she tugged his black hair softly. “Wanna come up?” She murmured softly against his lips. His answer was obvious.
Marlene looked quickly for her keys and opened the door, letting him in. Once the door was closed, she jumped on top of him and tangled her legs on his hips, clashing her lips against his once more. Sirius gasped with surprise but grabbed her tightly and walked to the elevator; he pressed the button clumsily and the doors opened instantly.
“Floor?” he asked and she stretched out an arm and pressed the number 5. The doors closed and Marlene wrapped her arms around Sirius’ neck while he kissed her desperately.
When they reached Marlene’s flat she jumped off him and opened the door while he kissed her neck from behind. He just couldn’t get enough; Sirius needed to feel her, to feel her skin in contact with his. Hazel appeared on the other side of the door, waging her tail happily.
Marlene smiled at her. “Come on, come with me” she said urgently and walked straight to the spare bedroom. Hazel followed her and jumped to the bed. “You are going to stay here… stay” she ordered and the dog obeyed. She closed the door and walked back to Sirius, taking off her jacket on the way.
As soon as she came back, he wasted no time and kissed her again lifting her up like a princess. “Bedroom?” he asked and she pointed the way while kissing his jaw.
They lay down in her bed for a long time, trying to catch their breaths. “I have to go” he muttered without wanting; for the first time in his life, he wanted to stay and cuddle, but Harry was waiting for him. Sirius look at the woman who was lying next to him: her hair was beautifully messy, her lips slightly swollen and red and her perfect naked body was covered with the sheets. She was smiling at him.
“I know” she replied honestly, knowing that Harry was his priority.
“Will I see you again?” he asked quietly.
“Yeah, I would like that” she nodded biting her lower lip shyly and moved to kiss him softly.
“Good” he agreed and kissed her back knowing that he had never been more honest.
Sirius Black hated women. In his perception, they were evil, manipulative, cruel. Walburga Black made him suffer like no one did, and he blamed women for it. It was their fault, he believed.
But then he though about Andromeda. She was his favourite cousin. She laughed at his jokes and listened to him talking about his passions, because she knew no one else did. She let him play with her stuff and teached him some spells even if he hadn’t a wand yet. She told him Gryffindors were a great house when he wrote to her, after he had received an owl by his parents on his first day at Hogwarts. She set an example to him. She made him realize that he had options, that he didn’t have to be like them.
Maybe, not every woman was bad.
Then, professor McGonagall became his teacher. She was the first professor who noticed that Sirius wasn’t like the rest of his family. She stopped calling him Mr Black, because she noticed how is muscles contracted when she did that. She never wrote to his parents about his detentions. She laughed when he dressed up as Dumbledore for Halloween. She called him in his office and offered him a biscuit when she knew Sirius was now at the Potters.
Maybe, not every woman was like his mother.
Then, Euphemia Potter accepted him. She welcomed him in their house. She made his bed every morning and she made him breakfast when he woke up. She hugged him when he cried for his brother and she called him son. She cared about him just the same way she cared about James.
Maybe, not everyone was like his mother.
Then, he met Lily, and at first he was pretty sure he hated her. But he didn’t. Lily made sure he did his homework and corrected it when he asked. She talked with him about their siblings. She hugged him when he noticed the Dark Mark on Regulus’ arm. She helped him organizing James’ birthday party. She made his best friend happy. She told Sirius that it was okay to make mistakes.
Maybe he didn’t hate women.
And then he fell in love with Marlene McKinnon. She brought sunshine into his life. She kissed him in the morning and she hugged him tigh when he came back home. She wiped his tears. She smiled at him when he woke up. She was able to let him understand that everyone deserves love. She saw how broken he was, but she didn’t try to make him ignore his memories, but helped him dealing with them. She held his hand when war became real and she was there for him when Regulus died. She saw his scars and healed his heart. She made him feel loved. She loved him. And he loved her, with every bit of his heart.
