Two of my Hogwarts Legacy OCs hehe. My Slytherin Conan Silver and my Gryffindor Curtis Llewellyn!
I introduced Curtis before (he's my Welsh lion hehe; he's also undergone some major character development!), but I've never introduced Conan here! He's a bit of a prick, enforcing the stereotype that blood status matters (especially during the 1890s), but most of his views stem from a very narrow bubble and a very strict blood elitist family. This same family is the reason why he's so insecure in himself.
Conan has no interests in befriending any muggleborns, especially not Curtis. Curtis is still friendly towards him despite Conan's animosity. They're both rivals in Crossed Wands, and it's because of this peculiar rivalry between them that Conan develops (uh oh!) feelings! It's these same feelings that make him want to bother this particular Gryffindor so badly! From pranks to insults, he tries to do anything to get under Curtis' skin, and he's bothered by the fact that it never works.
When it comes to these feelings, Conan tells himself that these feelings are also wrong. Purebloods can never be with muggleborns. So why does he feel them?
(I can really go on and on about them, but I'll stop here before I get carried away HAHAHA!)

I don't think I can express how much I enjoyed working on it and how much I've learnt from it. It was so much fun! Thank you so much, Tracey! Seriously, all the time I've spent laughing or smiling like an idiot because of our exchanges has been priceless!
Also, if I needed to describe their Hogwarts dynamic, I would place their other interactions after the first one in that order: two, three, four, five, six. It's not their creation order, so there are some inconsistencies, but it's how I see it in general.
I started working on the first page in November and finished the last one just recently, so the render style is a bit different. I also couldn't always keep Tracey's style consistent, but I'm still proud of how it turned out. Thanks again, Tracey, for trusting me with your brilliant sketches <3

I needed to draw one of my many "I want their romance" couples to get out of art block.
Lore! These are my Hogwarts Legacy Ravenclaw MC Lucien's parents! His father Leon Alberich, a muggleborn German student, thought he'd have no chances with Lucien's mother Amelia Abbot, a pureblood Ravenclaw witch. By all accounts, he probably shouldn't have.
But one day, Amelia gives him a chance. Not when they were Hogwarts students, but when they were both members of the Ministry of Magic. Leon was an Auror, and Amelia worked as part of the Wizengamot Administrative Services wing. She noticed, then, that Leon was starting to make a name for himself, for better or for worse (who could say). But it's enough to capture her attention. And when she finally does give him a chance?
She wonders, "Why didn't I give him a chance sooner?"
