Dani’s eyebrows furrowed at his suggestion, curiosity at it’s peak. “Well, don’t we-” She pondered on the thought for a few moments before nodding her head. “Oh God, yes. A day off sounds amazing.”

               a grin spread across arie’s features at her response, standing and closing his journals that would have to wait. “ what do you wanna do ?? we can go to the beach, get some coffee, go shopping -- ”

“I’ll find anything to drink to if we are being honest.” she let a small laugh out before tossing back the rest of the liquid before waving her glass for another round. “I like to think i got my dads alcoholic rockstar ways.”

               arie nodded knowingly at the blonde. when he first began drinking, arie didn’t shy away from his favorites, but now that he was only drinking to forget, he was indifferent to what kind of alcohol was in his glass. “ who’s your dad ?? ” perhaps arie didn’t do enough research, or read enough tabloids, but he was genuinely curious.

               “ that’s not as fun. ” arie replied with a frown, but tossing a hand around simon’s shoulder anyway. he nodded knowingly at the bouncer. “ he’s with me, man. make way, bitches, arie and won coming through !! ” arie hollered, clearly making their presence known.

               arie arched a brow at the other, incredulously before leaning across the table to see the article in question. he scoffed, “ that’s the third one this month !! ” he joked with a roll of his eyes. “ i was actually pronounced dead two days ago, so, i guess we’ll see what happens next in my FABULOUS life. ”

She twirled the glass around her fingers “there’s nothing like a glass of bourbon to bring out the lyrics.” she glanced up a bright smile on her lips “writers block hit hard today.” 

                arie nodded knowingly at the older blonde. although bourbon wasn’t his drink of choice, arie was a fan of getting drunk and making bad decisions to aid in the song writing process. “ i’ll drink to that. ” he chuckled, raising his beer bottle towards her.

“Yeah! I didn’t write or talk to like anyone for the past week. Just trying to get myself into a more… stable mental state.” Dani said, laughing. Eve had come over on one of those nights and they watched a musical, but they didn’t discuss Cherry Soda at all that night. “We have people who hated the single and people who loved the single to please. It’s rough.” She said with a shrug of her shoulders.

“Now, where are these lyrics you wrote?”

               arie felt bad for the brunette before him. he had been in her position before and knew it wasn’t easy, especially since it was their first album. cherry soda had no real direction to go in. they were on their own, a feeling arie knew far too well. “ did you want to -- do something else ?? ” he slowly closed the journal in his lap, looking at danielle seriously. “ we can go out and do something fun.  think we both could use a day off. ”

“I’ve just been pressed so hard to get out some songs and it’s… stressing me out,” She said shaking her head. “We could do an actual duet,” Dani nodded a hand running through her hair. “I was in choir from fifth grade til I graduated… so I’d say I have to be somewhat comfortable singing.” She joked, a smile on her face.

               arie nodded knowingly, but he hated that either of them actually had to know of the stresses of being worked to hard. “ have you had any time to yourself recently ?? i wouldn’t wanna burn you out or anything. ” he knew cherry soda had one good hit and were in the process of writing their first full length album, which was a pressure arie knew too well. he ignored her other statement entirely for the time being. this was more important. “ i know how stressful it can be. trying to please everyone and live up to expectations. ”

Dani set her case down one one of the chairs. Unzipping it, she pulled it out and patted her pocket’s to make sure she had a pick. Fishing it out of one of her back pockets, she put’s it in her mouth, holding it between her teeth as she sat next to Arie. Strumming lightly as he spoke, she made sure her guitar was in tune before nodding, “Yeah, that’s probably a smart idea. I’m literally stumped from all the writing I’ve been doing for Cherry Soda…” She laughed, shaking her head.

               “ i feel ya, on that one. ” arie grinned at her. he always tried to write through his off days, but he just seemed to have better ideas when he was under a time constraint. now that his album was out, arie didn’t know what to do with himself. “ so i was thinking maybe we could do an actual duet. i don’t know how comfortable you are singing on your own... ” he lets the sentence hang there for a moment, flipping through the pages of one of his composition books trying to find something they could work with.

Walking into the studio building, Dani was silently praying that the receptionist knew where Arie was, knowing that she had been directed to the wrong studio numerous times. Getting the studio number, she knocked on the door and fiddled with the strap of her guitar case. As the door opened, she smiled lightly before laughing, “Here’s to hoping my guitar doesn’t decide to be possessed today.” Dani joked, stepping into the room.

                arie chuckled at her joke, stepping aside to allow her inside the studio. he used the time dani was setting up her instrument to pull out one of his old notebooks and taking a sip from his vodka water bottle. “ so. ” there were a few chairs and couches in the room outside the booth, and arie collapsed onto one of the couches, patting the space beside him invitingly. “ i brough a bunch of my old notebooks that had some of my old lyrics i didn’t use. i thought maybe we could take a look through and see if any of them gave us some inspiration ?? ”

ARIE CASTILLO DROPS “THE WAY I AM” MUSIC VIDEO.

at midnight friday evening/saturday morning, arie castillo unexpectedly dropped the music video for what appears to be his next single “the way i am”. the video features arie at a house party, looking lonely (which, we know by his track record would not happen irl) from places spanning to a couch in a pool, to a bathtub. arie also showed off his adorably awful dance moves and killer abs in the video. the music vid has already amassed five million views in less than 24 hours. you might recall that arie teased some lyrics from this song a few months ago, so we’re glad to finally see a video for the bop.                two weeks ago, arie didn’t know what he was going to be getting himself into when he signed onto the collaboration project. but now, he found himself believing the was some celestial being watching over him, pairing him for a collaboration with one of the most attractive girls in hollywood. he had scheduled some recording time at his favorite studio, note pads filled with what was one scrapped song lyrics and a water bottle filled with vodka in tow. he waited for the brunette patiently, his demeanor changing instantly when he heard a wrap at the door. he threw it open with a grin, being met face to face with dani. “ we’ve got to stop meeting like this. ” he chuckles to himself, knowing the last time they saw each other they were at the exact studio.

        it was just so hard to wrap her head around it. arie was a lot of things, but introspective wasn’t something she’d expected. she’d started to think he was more interested in hooking up with whichever blonde he could convince than anything else ; georgia had forgotten that she’d ever seen any more to him than that. she was a bit glad he’d changed the subject. ‘ sure, ‘ she replied, shrugging. she’d been happy about it at the time, but it was fleeting. all it meant was a whole lot of people had bought her album, that all the PR nonsense her label made her do worked. half of them probably didn’t even care what the music meant. ‘ i’d throw a party, but who’s got the time for that? ‘

               “ yeah, right ?? ” he laughs, trying to forget the fact that HE was one of those people that had enough time for parties. maybe it was because he was finished promoting his new album, but arie had time to spare. and in any event, why was he lying to georgia ?? why was he trying so hard to impress her ?? he could probably juggle while riding a unicycle and she wouldn’t bat an eye, because that was just how georgia felt towards him now. “ it was good. ” he said that already, but he really meant it. “ a lot of, uh, deep stuff in there. ” deep stuff, meaning stuff he could assume was about him.

   upon arriving at the club, simon checks his front and back pockets — and realizes that he had forgotten to bring his vip key. ❝ hey — ❞ he says, meeting their eyes with an apologetic gaze. ❝ i might have left my key at home. would you mind vouching for me as a plus one ? ❞ he asks.

               “ hey, man. ” arie winked at his old friend, nodding as a signal for him to come over. “ only if you feature me on your next track. ” arie chuckles mostly to himself at his own joke. it was becoming increasingly obvious he had pregamed before coming out to the club.

                 she couldn’t help it ; georgia stared at him for a moment when he said the word therapy in disbelief. was he serious? because that was…well, it sounded kind of like he was SERIOUS. she wasn’t sure even arie would lie about something like that. ‘ oh, ‘ she finally said, stunned into silence. she almost felt bad for mocking him so much. maybe she’d been wrong, maybe she’d pushed too far. or maybe he was just using this to try and get her to forgive him for all the ways he’d hurt her. ‘ that’s great, arie, ‘ she said, painting on a fake smile. she wasn’t sure what else she could even say.

               arie never thought he’d see the day georgia was speechless, but here they were. he waited patiently for her to give him a coherent response. after all, georgia was part of the reason he sought a therapist (her spreading rumors about him splitting up his best friend’s relationship really took a toll on arie’s untreated anxiety). “ thanks. ” the air is suddenly more awkward than it already was, causing arie to finish off his bottle, making eye contact with the bartender and asking for another. “ how about you, though ?? number one on the charts, huh ?? that’s gotta be exciting. ” it was a while back, and although arie got close to the luxury, it always seemed to be an achievement he couldn’t quite grasp.

    his eyes flutter shut at the soft touch to his hair and he tips his chin to smudge a smiling kiss against the column of arie’s neck. “ your best is certainly good enough for me, ” he murmured into arie’s collarbone along with a thoughtful hum at the adjusted age spectrum. “ y’know, sometimes i forget you’re an actual baby, ” jett grins wryly, moving his hand to arie’s side to give it a tight squeeze. “ a promotion? how kind and generous of you. what should be my new title? my new position? ”  everything coming from jett’s lips is increasingly suggestive; he blames their physical closeness when, really, that’s just the way jett functions.

               “ in what way ?? because if you’re talking age, i won’t be a baby for long. ” perhaps jett meant sexually, and arie could be seen as a baby in that sense (at least as far as gay sex goes), but he still knew his way around a bedroom, just as he knew his way around a bottle. arie swallowed back a lump forming in his throat at jett’s tone. he knew exactly what jett was trying to do, and it was working. “ hot guy of the year ?? is that a thing ?? maybe hot guy of the century. ” arie’s hand finds the nape of the other’s neck, feebly attempting to pull him closer. “ maybe even top of the century. ”

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT !! —  CELEBRITIES HACKED : GEORGIA V. KAMIA.

   does anyone remember back in august of 2014 when someone hacked into over 500 celebrities icloud’s and leaked a ton of personal photos, videos, text messages, and anything else that they could find ?  if you weren’t around for that then you might be in luck; it appears a v2 might just be happening as we type. an account under the name of @leakingcelebtexts it throwing all morals and privacy out the window. we can’t say we’re not kind of hyped for it         especially seeing as how in concerns our #1 trending artist and hollywood’s social butterfly. through multiple screenshots, we see a brief argument unfold. 

GEORGIA: so are the rumours true? or has viral just been getting ahead of themselves again?

KAMIA: that depends which rumor you’re askin about … me and arie, me and trav, me and whoever’s insta photo i liked ???? i’m dating someone new every week. its exhausting.

GEORGIA: as if i give a shit about arie. thought it would be interesting to know if you were hooking up with someone else while you were apparently dating him …

KAMIA: definitely hooking up with others while apparently dating him. key word being apparently.

GEORGIA: huh, well that’s interesting.

KAMIA: sorry there’s nothin juicier for u. nothing u can subtweet about.   

from what we got, we picked up a few things : 1) if anyone was rooting for kamia and arie, we’re sorry to break your hearts. they’re just friends ( at least that’s what kamia is saying. ) and  2) if anyone was rooting for the return of georgia and arie, don’t hold your breath. ( apparently she’s just so over him. ). and 3) georgia really does have a way of scooping for the dirt, miss lane, if you ever want to utilize your talent, we’d really like to have you join the team ( kamia already believes you’re part of it !  ) what do you all think ?  is this argument just a petty mess ?  is kamia right for calling out georgia ?  will we hear anything from arie regarding an argument he probably had no idea he was involved in ?  this is surely starting to feel like an intro to the next glee episode. you can find the full list of screenshots here , let us know what you think.

he chuckled, taking a sip of his drink. this was his favorite part of all of this after the music, being treated like royalty and having things bought for him, although he’d never admit it. he laughed, grinning, “to dedicated fans,” he said, raising his glass.

               after their glasses clinked, arie chugged down half of the first drink in his hand, knowing he’d have to keep up with the steady flow of alcohol that was currently being bought for them. “ ya know, ” arie began setting down his glass and waving at a group of girls that was trying to get their attention. as soon as arie acknowledged them the went into a fit of giggles and squeals, a reaction arie was still trying to get used to. “ a lot of people ay fame -- god, i hate that word -- isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. ” he swirled the contents left in his glass around it’s brim before finishing it off. “ maybe i’m just optimistic, or maybe i haven’t been here long enough, but i can’t seem to find THAT many cons that people would say they outweigh the pros. what d’ya think ?? ”
