The whole "oh fast food workers are quitting because they aren't paid enough" really ignores that fast food work is the most dogshit job you can have. Like McDonalds in Aus pays above minimum wage in a lot of places and still struggles for good staff because it's just an awful place to work. People want living wages but they also want clear scheduling, more rights in the workplace, better equipment and managers that aren't weird sexist boomers.

not to be fake deep but admitting you fucked up and saying you’re sorry is 100000000x more rewarding than defending flawed views or thoughtless if unintentionally so actions, 10/10 would recommend, it’s not losing face it’s earning respect

I’d like to add, it’s also okay to admit you fucked up even if it’s late too. People change, views change, and more facts and info comes to light with time. Saying sorry or changing your mind isn’t weak or fake, because making mistakes is how everyone learns. Sometimes it just takes time to process, and owning up to something later is better than never. We can’t all make the right calls or react correctly all the time bc we’re human. Holding on to being right even when you learn different, and refusing to acknowledge it, NOW that is weak.
